Avoid this place. I had the most un-American experience I've ever had anywhere. When trying to buy liquor apparently when scanning my ID it said below age limit. I'm 26 the ID is valid clearly something was wrong so fair enough, I drive home 10 minutes to get an alternative ID (passport) then 10 minutes back. She was unwilling to even look at it. I have a young face and it was pretty clear she didn't believe I was 21 (I'm 26) which is understandable but when you are unwilling to even look at another form of legal identification that is not. She offered to call the cops to have them come look into this. I accepted her calling them and then she changes her mind. She says her manager will be in at 2 and refused to call him. So she was unwilling to call the police or her manager. I considered calling the police myself but then I asked myself why would I have them come down to convince these people of my age just so they can take my money and business. Why on earth would I want to give them any business after this. So I went down to Rite Aid by Hannafords, and ofcourse my valid ID is accepted there. Rite Aid has a new plenti member, the staff are ALWAYS friendly too. My mother and stepdad were literally raised and grew up here in Brattleboro and have a large amount of family here. After I talk with everyone you can bet nobody will be stopping here ever again. Not even for gas. Now I'm also going to post on facebook to let my local friends know about this experience and hopefully most will avoid it also.
