With the rising cost of food in Toronto, it's great that this grocery outlet exists to help people out with more affordable food. The prices are much lower than regular grocery stores and none of the products were expired from what I could see. A lot of the items sold here are frozen and they don't have any fresh fruits/vegetables which is to be expected. The store is somewhat small and their selection is not nearly as large as the big box grocery chains, but this grocery outlet has enough variety that you should be able to find at least a few items worth buying. They also sell non-perishable items such as toilet paper. The staff are friendly and attentive. I recommend this store if you are looking for affordable essentials.
This place is a hidden gem. Lots of excellent products at extremely low prices. A great variety of vegan/vegetarian products, lots of frozen fruits and veggies and random other stuff that change all the time. Plus, the staff here is very kind and helpful!
The most affordable grocery store out there for all my vegan needs. I will always shop here! Great selection of vegan and vegetarian options for the most affordable prices available. With food cost rising, it is awesome to have a place like this. Most foods are frozen and prepackaged foods which is great, as things approaching expiry date can be frozen. I have gotten some great deals for things no where near the expiry date yet and even somethings are still good due to the best before date. Will highly recommend this grocery store to anyone in the GTA. Please expand more locations!
There's a variety of options for a cheap price at this outlet, you just need to verify the expiration date in some products. There some vegan products as well. The cashier told us that everything changes every 4-6 weeks. Here are a few items found: Breaded chicken breast - 2kg - $15,90 Beef meatballs - 1.5 kg - $ 5,99 Hands sanitizer - 238 ml - ¢0,10 Gel alcohol 70% - 1L - $1,50 Mozzarella cheese - 100 g - $1 Samosa - 1kg - $7,99
Update: Note Price Drops! Keto pizza was priced at $12. A 2.6 kg bag of perogi was $12.50 comparable to regular store prices. When I visited 1-2 weeks later, their prices dropped to $7 and $5 respectively! As with any outlet visit, my only expectation was that items would have lower prices than regular stores.... Beyond Burger patties were half the price of regular grocery store sale prices. Dr Oeker The Good Baker - Spinach & Pumpkin Seed frozen pizza was $1. Love Grown Cereal was $1.50 some were expired Some items were comparable to regular stores. Kraft Dinner Mac & Cheese was $0.88/ box same as a 12 pack on sale for $10 As other reviewers advise: I strongly recommend checking best before date before dropping the item in your cart.
Great food outlet for vegan items including perogies, bacon, chicken cutlets, yogurt, Silk milk, Dutch chocolate ice cream, Just Egg, various burgers, a bunch of Very Good Butchers items, imitation seafood, pizza crusts, scallops, Tofurkey, and many other things. There are also regular milk and meat items throughout the store. Prices are great. There are boxes available for packing your items if you need. Wish there was a location more west of this! Perhaps Milton, KW, London.
Mostly frozen foods or packaged snacks but really great to stock up on and you spend a fraction of what you would at a regular store. The stock is always different so sometimes you’re not so lucky but it’s definitely worth checking out to help decrease food waste and save money.
I've been shopping here for years ... since it was called 'Almost Perfect' ... Always find a great deal and great food ... The frozen food section is amazing and can't be beat ! The frozen dessert section is beyond compare ! There is always a revolving selection of new and cool product as well and the regular selection changes quite frequently ... If you haven't checked this place out yet ... do yourself a favour and go at least once ... you won't be sorry !!!
Prices are good. Selection of food changes each time we go. Sometimes it's great, sometimes not so much!
Lots of the dry packaged products are from the US and not in other stores in Canada that I have seen so it is nice to find some special items. Always come in to get a big bag of McDonalds style frozen hashbrowns for $5.99 and make them in the toaster
