Went to buy a wardrobe,bed sheets and  bed from this store and the saying you get what you pay for applies to the defective factory rejected items they sell in this store.the bed had to be replaced in 2 weeks it was so uncomfortable it's like they put regular foam in the bed and the bed was sinking no support! The bed sheets had a tear in one day because it's so thin like sheer curtains. And the wardrobe is another story from chipping to the parts not properly fitting. I think the only thing that good in that store is the 10$ mix and match sale they have. if you want to have anything and not keep wasting your money,I advise ppl to go to a store and spend good money at least put that $200 you plan on spending at this store put it towards something that's 1k.....at least it will last longer and you will have a warranty if you in counter problems

I generally only come to this store when I want to purchase school uniforms for my kids. But today I was in a rush to find a shirt for my sons party. Let's just say today will be the last day I come here. The police wanted to seem helpful by assisting me with lookig for the proper size shirt but that was only after he asked my husband if he was going to purchase the toy my daughter was holding. And if that wasn't enough he followed us around the store and to the register. After completing our purchase he asked the cashier what we purchased. I knew he was asking about the toy so I pulled it out the bag and handed it to my daughter. If he thought I could steal something with him following me around the way he was he should have just asked me if I was Houdini smh. I will do my uniform shopping somewhere else.

You can always find items at the Discount Mart that you might not  fine  at  other retail stores  Discount Mart is one of the longest lasting stores in the District of Columbia with reasonable prices and a long list of items for your household✌😁

Pretty good... I purchase the GO MIXER at a reasonable price for my Bath n body products.  Looks like the KITCHEN AID BRAND that $199.00 - $299. For a dupe the price was perfect , lightweight and a space saver...

1 star for being able to go here one day a year for uniforms. Thank goodness for Amazon now.  I miss the 80's and early 90's when Discount Mart- Minnesota Ave was the BEST- clean at the very least and the parrot was a lot less in your space. This Eastern Ave location is DISGRACEFUL. The DUST and CRAMPED SPACES, junky check out area. They don't even pretend to care. Pride isn't for everyone I guess. Discount Mart mantra-
 Profits over people.
