We have now used Discount Property Taxes for about 6 years running. Every year they challenge our tax bill like clockwork and every year we have favorable valuations.  Thanks DPT!

I employed this company to represent my home in 2016.  I signed the documents as requested and e-mailed back and had it verified by Ms. Hunt.  I had guarantees that the house would be represented after checking in with them on a  monthly basis.  When the time can and passed, I heard nothing and after sending multiple e-mails asking for the status I finally got received one stating the attempt unsuccessful.  I asked for more information as to why, and was  told many they'd send me the explanation and they gave me another offer to represent me next year (really?).  Nothing has shown up either in e-mail or land mail.  I decided to call TCAD and spoke with an administrator whom told me there was never even a case opened for my home in 2015/2016.  

I would never recommend a company that blatantly lies to its customers.  Avoid this one...I wish I had-

We've used Discount Property Taxes for the last 2 years and they've been able to get our taxes reduced each year.  The process was simple and the best part is that we didn't have to do anything ourselves!  Their fees for this service seem to be in line with others that we checked out.  We would definitely recommend them.

Discount property taxes has saved me thousands of dollars every year!  I will continue using them for my property tax needs.  Steve is great and I always look forward to the amazing savings he finds.  I recommend Discount Property Taxes for anyone who wants to save money with no risk involved.  Two thumbs up.

We employed them in May, confirmed by email communication.  In November, when we still hadn't heard anything, we emailed them twice.  No response.  Called them, and we were told they never sent the protest and that we never employed them!  We have their email to prove that they agreed to file our protest back in May.  Oh well, we'll go with someone else next time.  You should too.
