Discovery Space is a hands-on children's science center in State College, PA.

Story

The museum has 5,000 square feet of interactive exhibits on aviation, meteorology, paleontology, geology, and more! Best suited for children 6 months to 14 years old. Field trips, birthday parties and events occur regularly. Book yours today!

During the school year, there are weekly programs for preschoolers and babies. These are free with paid admission, and completely free to members.

Summers are filled with week long day camps for children ages 3-15 years. Members receive a discount on camps.

Super great place. I take son here twice a week for baby explorers and music makers. I like that they have a no unaccompanied adults rule because they're are some real creepers in state college.

Kids loved it!  They have a number of hands on exhibits demonstrating various scientific principles from solar energy to electrical engineering.  It appeals to multiple ages. We had a preschooler and an elementary student with us. Even the adults of the group were entertained. It's away from the Penn State campus, near the high school football stadium.
