I was so happy with the work they did on tinting my windows and taillights that I went back in to have a stereo system installed.

They do fantastic work and will get my business in the future.

I just brought home my newly tinted A6 and they did a phenomenal job.  The tint is really high quality and has no hints of color.  I called them this morning and set up a noon appointment...I was driving in my professionally tinted car by 3.  The guy even wiped/buffed the whole thing down for me free of charge, just so that it would look great driving out.  This is the second car I have had done by this place and I will continue to get all my car work done here.

This place does a great job on tinting on my car. Owner (peter) is very nice. he was very helpful. there were no hidden charges and i was very happy with the installation. i will recommend them to anyone i meet

DISTINCTIVE is a RIP-OF.  This review is specifically for their car stereo department, I have had no experience with their tinting, though they seem to do a good job.

Their main installer, Todd, quoted me $450 for a part and $250 for labor (2hrs at $125/per) for an iPod harness installation, which seemed high but reasonable due the to out of pocket expense for the part.  After Todd spoke with the parts manufacturer, he came to the realization that he could do it with a $150 part, the problem was that he would not decrease the total quote for the install.  He said the price was based on the end result, not what it cost him to do it.

Additionally, he said it would be a 4-6 hour installation (this is a professional that makes his living by doing these types of installs on a daily basis).  I am not a professional car installer, just a guy that is resourceful with Google and YouTube, I did the install myself in 20 minutes plus $200 in parts and tools.

*I called other local installers and they were quoting $250 less (30%) less.  I would never recommend this place.
