I recently reached out to Raritan Crossing to help my brother find an apartment, and the experience was amazing. From the first call, Kaitlin, the office manager, was so kind and patient, answering all my questions and making the process feel easy. Jules followed up with the same warmth, and together, they made us feel genuinely welcomed. When we got the call that we’d secured the apartment, they were just as excited as we were, like we’d already become part of the Raritan family. I couldn’t recommend Raritan Crossing more—such a supportive, caring community!
I recently moved here and it's been all good I remember, when I was looking for the apartments and even after finalizing it, the management was so helpful to me during the whole process. Jewel was the manager at the time and she made everything so easy and convenient to me and was so helpful and friendly. I remember she even helped me a bit when something was wrongly delivered at the Office instead of my house hahahh she was very sweet. It's been more than 6 months since I've lived here and I've not faced any major issues. The community is good, apartments are good and if something breaks, maintainence is also good. Definitely recommend it.
I’ve been here for 2 months and I like it very much, my apartment is very spacious with more than enough closet space. A lot of windows available so you get a great breeze coming in through the summer and a lot of natural lighting. Very quiet at night and I feel very safe. I gave it four stars because the pool has not open yet and there is still no future dates to look forward to. ***Pool is officially open, and it feels great that I do not have to travel so far but just a walk away to relax and stay cool, 5 stars!***
My partner lived here for 2 years before I moved in with him this past year and we’ve had nothing but positive experiences! Office and maintenance staff were always easily accessible and very attentive. The various amenities are also a plus. Katelyn and Jewel were beyond helpful from the moment we each moved in until the moment we moved out. If you’re looking for a place in or around Middlesex County, we highly recommend making Raritan Crossing your next home!
I’ve lived here long term. It’s a nice place to live. Management is very responsive and quick to fix any issues. I would have liked a more updated space but nonetheless the apartments are spacious.
From the moment I called these apartments I was told all the information I needed to know and after calling and making a decision we decided to make Raritan Crossings our new home Jewel has been very sweet & lovely from the moment I first spoke to her, she made the process to apply very easy , she has great communication skills! & overall excellent customer service! My family and I are delighted with our new space & can’t wait to check out the pool & gym soon! Thank you!
Very nice place to live, only been so I really don’t have anything bad to say. Just wish the parking rules were really enforced. But luckily I have a garage.
I Definitely Recommend These Apartments My Parents Lived There From The Late 1980s Until 2001 I Came Into The Picture In 1993 I had some of my best Childhood Memories In These Apartments. Dad With His New Semi Parked Along The Sound Barrier in 1998 I Went To Visit A Few Years Ago It Felt Like I Stepped Back In Time
I lived at Raritan Crossing for two years and was very pleased with my experience. The apartments are in a very centralized location on Rt1 with quick access to several major highways and every store and restaurant I needed. The staff here is very nice and helpful. The few times I needed maintenance they always arrived in a timely manner, and the leasing department is always available and helpful during their office hours.
Recently moved out of the Raritan Crossing apartment complex after having lived there for roughly 3 years. I will be as fair and thorough as possible, and want to provide the caveat that this rating is closer to a 3.5 rather than a 4. Property Management - 5/5. The apartment managers are friendly, prompt and processed our maintenance/exterminator requests in a very timely manner. No complaints. Maintenance Crew - 5/5. Very friendly guys who took care of problems that arose immediately. In the first couple of months we lived there, we had some issues with a leaking ceiling and then a situation where our sink backed up. We also had a wasp problem which required our back sliding door to be fully replaced. These were probably the largest situations that had to be handled and they were done as promptly as possible. Location - 2/5. Good area generally - close to major thoroughfares and several stops on the NEC line. About an hour away from New York. But the specific location is terrible as you are on Route 1 north and only have one way in/out of the complex. It is what it is. Parking - 1/5. The parking situation got progressively worse each year we were here. There are no assigned parking spots unless you pay extra for a garage which we did not, but that's not necessarily a problem. The main problem is that there are SO MANY cars illegally parked in spots which are obviously not meant for parking, which made it hell to get out of the complex to go to work in the morning. This falls squarely on the residents who engage in this antisocial behavior - go to the back lot or back of the complex, park your car, and walk to your apartment. Additionally there were a lot of non-residents without parking stickers whose cars would be parked for days at a time. Enforcement of both of these problems was very sporadic, and I'm not really sure why. Apartment itself - 3/5. They are fairly old apartments from the 1960s/70s. Wall paint is pretty drab. The 2br/1ba was fairly spacious compared to other complexes in the area. Soundproofing is terrible, but fairly typical of American apartments. Since it is next to the Raritan River you will occasionally get a waterbug the size of your fist, which is jarring. Utilities/Internet - 4/5. Heat/hot water included in the rent so you are only paying for electricity and Internet. FIOS is available. Overall it met our needs for three years before we moved at the end of 2023. I don't know what the rents here are like now but at least when we moved in - and for the time that we lived there - it was more reasonable than nearby complexes for more space, probably because of the location. Overall I would recommend it, but be cognizant of the location, parking situation, and the age of the apartments. I do believe some of them are being fully renovated/remodeled so may be worth looking into those if available.
