Dodge City Regional Airport is three miles east of Dodge City, in Ford County, Kansas. It is used for general aviation and was at one point subsidized by the Essential Air Service program

This is the first and last time I will use this airport. I made my flight reservation well in advance and within a week of my departure, they changed my departing and returning flights. I made a second reservation to match my changed flight plans only to be told that all flights back to Dodge City for that day had been canceled as well. This resulted in being held up another day at my destination in addition to higher flight costs due to circumstances completely out of my control. If you are going to operate a business such as this, why not create a set schedule and stick to it. I understand if there isn't enough bookings to justify a flight, but certainly a business should know that far enough in advance to avoid these problems that make customers drive four plus hours to catch a flight rather than help their local economy. I really hope this business improves their standards for customer satisfaction.
