This place was across the street from the motel I stayed. I'm glad I went! The banana split is the best deal they have. 3 scoops of your choice ice cream, a whole banana, crushed waffle cone, whipped cream, 3 cherries and topped with chocolate syrup. Delicious. Wish we had one of these back home.

Best ice cream in town!!! Definitely coming with the family again. More variety compared to other locations in South Padre Island. Recommended

This is not good gelato... Every flavor was grainy, not great texture.  I thought maybe it was the flavors I chose caramel and chocolate brownie but everyone else's were the same white chocolate, butter pecan, Nutella Go somewhere else for dessert hardly any of us finished ours.

Gelato was good, not amazing and it was expensive. Almost $7 for two scoops. Worker wasn't rude but seemed like she was ready to go home. I should have went to DQ.

Seriously lacking in flavor. I've only eaten gelato once before so I may not be the best judge. No one in my group was very happy about what they got. Tasted like weak ice milk with so little flavor I had to go back and ask to be sure the worker gave me the right thing. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't good either.

We always stop here for a Gelato at least once every time we visit the Island.  Always great, friendly service and tons of flavors. Just get there early as they do seem to run out of certain flavors later in the evening.

Let me just say when you visit a location there is a proper way to greet your guest and pass on information. If you step into this location don't expect that!! Small girl with glasses is ensuring the public who visits needs to wear a mask in a loud tone. No "Hi or Hello or Welcome" to our "you don't need to buy Gelato here. " Yeap 6 guest and 6 guest that just walked through....add it up and save you money. Then it's connected to a souvenir shop which mask were off and guess what same rude employee there too!! But nothing else was said but the darted eyes said enough. What got me was the iron on they offer and what is above the entry that goes back into the Gelato location. What was there name who cares when you have that bad apple there!! Back to the iron ons...freedom, American flag and the sense of not know what any of that stands for because you have no clue. I do, Governors Order was lifted and we yet seem to recognize our freedoms just for living in this Great Country!! If you made it this far look at the pics and see if you can figure out which large posting was above this locations entrance!!

The so called Gelato was AWFUL! It was more like ice milk.

My wife and I had some ice cream in the afternoon before going to the dolphin watch and sunset tour. Not sure if they make it there but it was good. I recommend this place and you can go shopping before or after at the souvenir shop next door

They seem to like to close before their posted closing time.  They closed both locations before 9 pm with a posted closing time of 10 pm.
