My husband and I drove by and saw that it was no longer a Craft Brewery but a Mexican Cantina. We were so thrilled, we just popped in & thought we would have a margarita and check out the menu. After sitting at the bar and talking with the owner we found out that they won't have their liquor license until Tuesday 11/29/22. We decided to have an appetizer before we went on our way and we were thankful that we did! The Baby Shrimp Tostada was amazing! There were 3 of them and it was an awesome appetizer. The flavors were spot on and different from anything else we've had locally. Shrimp was tender, chipotle gave mild heat, but not overpowering & crema was amazing. You won't b disappointed. Can't wait to try more off the menu & their specials & have a margarita! We'll be back!!! Tom & Debi I'm sure I'll give it five stars after we can have a margarita!
Wanted to love this place, but they're still working out the little things. Entrees were great, chips and queso seem more like movie theater quality. Margaritas were really good, but made incorrectly. Definitely a cool atmosphere, looking forward to trying it again.
3rd day open, just happened by to realize something had moved into the old brewery site in the plaza. Service was quick and friendly. Atmosphere was inviting but the food was fantastic! Owner has roots in the food scene of Rochester for years and was more than happy to strike up a great conversation. They will also be utilizing the existing brewing equipment to bring a one of a kind experience to the area next year with their own authentic locally brewed Mexican beers as well as local collaborations. Fully stocked bar that covers all tiers. Highly recommended, we will be back.
We decided to go there on a whim and were happy with our decision. Food and atmosphere were great. Highly recommend their homemade chips, I couldn't stop eating. I can't wait until it's fully open so we can try their drink menu
Visited their restaurant on east ave, now that they have moved, I have to rate this place so everyone is warned. Food was literally the worst food I have ever had in my life, got the machete which it looks like they still feature on their new menu. It was no a burrito, cold, included items that were not listed on the menu and was overall BAD. It tasted like they had microwaved a hot pocket, for 18$ I would’ve expected at least a nice presentation and decent tasting food. Don’t go here, I wish them luck at their new place and hopefully it’s not like the last.
Didn’t get to try the food yet but I can already tell the service and everyone working is OUTSTANDING!!! We arrived 5min to closingmy fault I thought they closed later the doors were locked the lady was so nice she still opened just for us and told us she will cook for us!! The waitress was so sweet and welcoming! Very impatiently waiting for your Liquour license. Can’t wait! Thank you for such a warm first experience. Wishing you loads of success!
I'll start by saying it is a new location and I know they're still working things out. However, we had to seat ourselves, no waiter or waitress for 20 minutes, drinks took another 20 minutes. Drinks tasted gross, waitress was very unorganized and messed up the order. She also did not seem happy to serve us. Drinks were added to my tab that I didn't buy. Food was not the best. Place looks wonderful and is clean but that's about it. I won't be returning.
Great staff. Appetizer papas fries were outstanding a little spicy but very good. Fish tacos and chicken quesadilla also very good. Great atmosphere!
The flights were very juice like didn’t taste like margaritas at all. Also the faux dip with steak didn’t come with chips and was very fatty with the steak pieces. The chips and salsa weren’t bad besides the fact that every chip was broken!!! Overall I would not recommend and the waiter was very amateur.
The worst fish tacos I’ve ever had. The service is terrible the waitress couldn’t even figure out how to remove the bottle cap from a bottle of beer. There’s no drink list why?. The food came out quick but was cold and tasteless. I used to visit Whichcraft frequently and figured I’d try this new place but I will not be returning.
