Pizza is always good, I love the sauce! The workers were very nice when I went to go pick it up… I ordered bacon and pepperoni as the toppings and as you can see in the photo I picked the “bacon” off as it was very fatty. I’ll just remember next time to not order the bacon as a topping.
Your order WILL be wrong, if/when you try to call. They either blame it on doordash or don't answer at all. This isn't a one time occurrence, they've messed our order up 4 out of the 9 times ordering from here. I literally TRIED to give them the benefit of the doubt as I own a business but this is ridiculous. I'm out of about $50 from ordering from this Donatos. Oh and lastly, they WILL burn your pizza, FOR SURE. Just save yourself the time & go to the High Street one, the food/Customer service is worth having to pick up your Pizza. Today I didn't even receive my food at all. The picture below is from the LAST TIME I ordered from here. Wrong pizza & of course burned
We got plant based “pepperoni” and black olives on an extra large pizza and Dr. Pepper picked up.. was yum and esp the meatless meat part is awesome! Not sure how many other places offer this option but it’s great for new vegan curious/conscious people.
Avoid this store at all costs. It has went from bad to worse. Nothing like calling and being lied to by a manager. I placed an online order got an email confirmation with a time it would be delivered to my door. Then I received a text from Doordash stating my delivery wouldn't be here until 40 mins later. I called the store they offered to credit my account out for the sale price or they would credit my card and funds would be credited to my account within 2 to 3 business days. The "manager" a young girl who refused to provide a name of herself or the Store or the District Manager because it was against policy due their safety not only bold faced lied placed me on hold said she was checking what time the food left her store and that she personally handed it to the driver comes back to the phone 5 or 10 mins later to tell me that the food was just now leaving. None of what she said made any sense. If she's a manager then she needs to learn how to manage. She needs to learn how to be an adult and not lie. I love how she said it comes with reheating instructions. If I wanted to cook I would have cooked and not spent $50 on garbage food. Please see how the pizza arrived all smashed up. This place is off the list.
The Carriage Place location used to be good before Covid. Now they have zero customer service. I picked a "take out" order yesterday - breadsticks and pizza. After Covid, I decided to give 15-20% tips on take-out orders because the restaurant industry suffered a lot during the lockdown. So, I gave a tip before I left the restaurant. I came home and found that the breadsticks were charred. I drove back to the restaurant and asked the guy if he cared to look at the breadsticks while putting them in the box. He didn't have an answer. He was not apologetic. He said, "breadsticks are frozen and get a little burned when we put them in the oven." I was surprised to find out that Donatos wasn't baking fresh breadsticks. He gave me better-looking breadsticks but showed no concern that his mistake caused me to drive back. This is not the first time this location of Donatos has given something burned. Customer Service has gone down the drain after Covid. I hope the Store Manager reads this and does something to improve the customer experience.
We ordered a pizza at 2:30. It is now after 4 and we still don't have our pizza. They initially gave our pizza to Doordash to deliver Note: we ordered through Donatos, not Doordash and we received the wrong pizza. We called Donatos to report it and they brushed us off saying it was Doordash's fault and we had to call them. So we did. They were helpful and called Donatos to re-order our pizza and Doordash paid for it as the mixup was their mistake though it seems at least partially Donatos's fault as there is nothing on the outside of the box identifying the pizza and order so the only way the dasher could have checked would be to open the box which I do not want them to do and it shouldn't be necessary. Over an hour later, we still don't have our pizza, so we called Donatos again. They said our pizza was ready and they had been waiting on a driver, but by their own admission from a manager they didn't inform Doordash that it was ready and are totally fine with the fact our pizza has sat there for 30 plus minutes waiting to be picked up and delivered to us. They have no intention of trying to make things right and when we tried to just ask for a refund they put us on hold after once again insisting that this was entirely Doordash's fault. *Update: They did get back to us finally and are sending our pizza with their own driver, but there was no real apology or any attempt to make it up to us that we had to wait two hours for our pizza. We've been ordering pizza from this Donatos for years and I'm incredibly disappointed in the poor service we encountered today. We've never had a problem like this with them before and the fact that no one at Donatos even seemed to care that this happened really sits wrong with me. Even if it was Doordash was at fault, we ordered through Donatos and paid for it through Donatos and all they could say was that it wasn't their fault. Very disappointing and I can't even remark on the quality of our pizza because we STILL don't have it.
Ordered 2 pizzas and a 2liter yesterday at 6:12pm. Someone delivered one pizza which was not even one we ordered this one had jalapeño on it so even if we wanted to just eat it we couldn’t because the kids don’t eat spicy and nothing else. Called Donatos and the lady was nice and said my order had been sitting there and she’d remake it and send it out and apologized for sending the wrong pizza. An hour passes so I call and no answer. 30 more min pass and I call again. Wait over ten minutes for no answer. I called 4 different times to get no answer. Food never showed up. I call this morning and speak to the manager who was rude and didn’t apologize one time. Offered a store credit but i stated I’m not interested in that. I want my money back to my card because that’s ridiculous. He cuts me off said I need to call 1800donatos for it and hangs up on me. Extremely rude considering I paid for food that came wrong and I brushed off and said mistakes happen I’ll wait another hour pretty much and food never show. Poor management!
Worst Costumer Service I've ever experienced from a food establishment. Couldn't ask managers questions, got crumbled up receipts tossed at me, and had to ask for my sauce cups and pop twice. With no one else in the store and the back employees just sitting on their phone.
They were out of thick crust, informed us after an online order was placed. Order was already paid, asked for item to be comped in place and they refused, poor customer service.
Shoutout to this specific Donatos for making the single worst pizza I have ever had in my life. I ordered it well done and they didn't even cook it normal done. Then they said they would add a credit to my account and never did. Seriously, you might as well get Little Ceasers.
