Forgot to say, 'bout to finish the 8th grade. I shall remain anonymous for safety reasons. My thoughts on the school after going through 6-8. Ghetto, the teachers are always trying to shove an agenda up your ---, it has bomb squads for some reason, toxicity and just plain bad kids, in Cambridge as of currently and really only judges on what race you are (the principal even said "we let the minorities in before the actual smart kids") many kids in Cambridge struggle to get good grades meanwhile if I don't get a B I get pissed off and the whole class usually gets punished for something say another kid who shouldn't even have been in Cambridge in the first place, of course Common Core and some really dumb policies for say the stupidest things. My friend got suspended for punching a smaller kid who kept putting his hands on my friend. I'm mostly critical of it due to the nostalgia of elementary school, but honestly I thought middle school would've lived up the past 3 years to expectations and let me say, it sure as hell hasn't. Can't wait to be out in May. Your expectations for the school drop in after 7th grade sets in and then 8th grade to follow up. Gee, can't wait to go to McGavock NOT. Personally if you had the extra money, just send your kid to Mount Juliet.

Yeaaa no. Parents, DONT CHOOSE THIS PLACE. A school that’s supposed to help with “learning” and “preparing you for the future” just put me 50 years in the past. Our state testing is 3 weeks long, in 6th grade I only had 2 teachers, I’ve gotten suspended for defending myself in a fight, but when I told the principal what happened... they said “you’re never supposed to hurt others”, I have 20 lbs of work put on me a day, I’m expected to learn as fast as everyone else, I’m expected to think as fast as everyone else, I’m expected to get an A like everyone else, no one seems to believe in me (except my math teacher)with anything outside of school, my English teacher is a nazi officer, half the people there are edgy ghetto thots, and lastly, the teachers are making it look like if you don't get good grades, you're going to hell. -Someone in 7th grade.

Nice school, could use a bit of updating, though.

Awful, school. Principals didn't do anything. It's so bad all of the past 6th going on 7th are going to a different middle school. 😑
