Absolutely amazing bakery! I'm a cheese Danish or croissant girl. I got both today, and they were DIVINE. Doré is also partnering with Too Good To Go, helping to end food waste. We'll be ordering every other day now. Thank you!

Went there for the first time today. Two young people in the front of the store. Couldn’t see anyone when we first walked in. The boy got up and started assisting us- we selected a couple of items- then a woman appeared from the back- the boy stopped helping us and walked to the register with the woman, never saying a word to us. WTH?!  Then a man appears and asked if we are being helped- I guessed not- so we asked for another item, then I mentioned we had a already selected a couple of items- the man looked annoyed like we were bothering him: Haven’t even tasted the pastries- but I will never give them another penny. Rude! Horrible customer service!

BEST BAKESHOP IN EAST BAY! MUST TRY!  We tried them first at the Brentwood Farmer’s Market. It was so gooood I need them the next day! They are NOT located beside AMC at the Streets of Brentwood anymore like in one of the photos here. Rather, they’re in outlet at the intersection of Brentwood and Nancy.  Try their brownie with walnuts! My partner doesn’t like brownies but Doré’s was so good that when I bought two for myseld she asked if she could have an entire one for herself! Another immediate favorite was the croissant with almonds, chocolate, and banana. We’re still trying to go through their entire selection because everything is so delicious. If you wanted something specific and the shelf at the front is empty you can ask if they have some more available at the back. They usually do!  This is a hidden gem in Brentwood but it’s so good it shouldn’t be hidden at all! Gotta share the deliciousness to everyone.

Best French bakery in the Bay Area - hidden gem in Brentwood! Reasonable prices for such elegant treats. Since it is right next to the AMC, get some of the special pastries rather than popcorn.

I wasn't impressed by anything we got.  Tried the Carrot Cake, German Chocolate Cake and Bread Pudding.  At ~$6.00 a slice, I expect it be be pretty tasty, and it was just super average.

This is a small pastry cafe that makes incredible food. My favorite place for something special for breakfast food.

As native French person, I missed my French pastries, and we found this bakery, so disappointing. Too sweet. Macarons were CRUNCHY, so sweet, and put in a plastic box like some random leftovers. The pastries were ok, although the one we took was not what they labeled it to be a Clafoutis is NOT that, my friend. When we entered, no one even spoke French. And in our culture, we DON’T use plastic, and we recycle, they call their bakery « French », that is not French. Just a regular pastry store.  Quel dommage, les macarons croquants et dans une boîte en plastique, NON MERCI.

Nothing but a nasty attitude from these employees. It’s almost like they don’t appreciate the business being given to them. Absolutely unacceptable..

We moved from South Bay in April and were very happy to have found this excellent French bakery. My favorites are Danish and Baba au Rhum. People giving 1 star or taking a star off just for the bakery not working at a suitable for them hour or because they don’t have a delivery to another city just ridiculous! Sometimes I doubt humanity
