Doria's Haus of Pizza
"Since 1981, Doria's Haus of Pizza has been the premier Italian Restaurant in Costa Mesa. 41 years later we still have the best pizza in town. As a family owned restaurant we pride ourselves in our food and we want to share that with our community. We offer great pizza, great pasta and sandwiches, and plenty of beer and wine to enjoy while you watch some baseball on any of our TV's. Try some of our Daily Specials for lunch! We're grateful for the support over the years and for making Doria's Haus of Pizza the Home of Flavor."

Food was pretty good, reasonably priced. We ordered pizza as well, but i forgot to take a picture of it. I am giving 4 star because the cheese completely fell off the dough, but still nonetheless it was still very yummy. Just had to use a fork to scoop everything up to eat. The atmosphere is very nice and Italian-like. Sweet little mom and pop restaurant, worth checking out.
This place was so bomb. The dough was cooked to perfection... You can tell the freshness of the dough and the meat used for the pizza was really good. I started with an antipasta salad with Italian dressing and ended with a canoli to go. Haven't tried it yet, but I have high hopes considering everything was really good. The people here were nice and down to earth. Going to be a new "home" tradition for me.
I have been going myself and with family to Haus of pizza for over 20 years. The food is always fresh. I have never had a meal that was cooked poorly or with bad ingredients. I can’t say that for many other local Restaurants in this area. I always recommend Haus of pizza to out of towners or anyone looking for good pizza and traditional dishes. You really can’t go l wrong at this spot go and you’ll see for your self.
Been dinning at Doria's for over thirty years and it is what it is, a low and reasonably priced family establishment. The food is good with good portions & good menu selection. If you're looking for a five-star experience, you most likely will be disappointed but if you're looking for reasonably priced meal with friends or family Doria's is a good choice. Friday and Saturday are going to be busy so keep that in mind.
What a terrific local restaurant. This type of restaurant is so rare these days we just had to stop in and give it a try. I think they do a significant amount of their business through take out and possibly delivery but we were driving around looking for a place to dine in. We loved the old school signage out front and the quaint family run business inside. Not alot of tables but enough to give the place a warm buzz sound of coziness and conversation. The smells were amazing! The family next to us ordered 2 large pizzas that looked incredible. The toppings were abundant and the crust cooked just right. I was craving lasagna and it came recommended by the server and my wife ordered manicotti. We had a choice of minestone soup or salad, we both chose salad with house Italian dressing. The salad size was perfect and dressing was ok. Didnt love the dressing so giving it an ok. The entry's came and we were hoping for goodness. Everything about this place says family and that usually equates to yummy. We weren't dissapointed. The sauce is the key to good Italian food and we both agreed it was tasty. No corporate flavors here. The portion size was nice and the food was served hot. I really enjoyed the cheese, the flavor was terrific. Lastly, the server was attentive and on point. We will be back.
Good pizza. Great host she helped us decide on the size of pizza for 2 people.
I had their Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo and it was amazing! No disappointment! Creamy, lots of chicken and on a bed of well cooked pasta! Can't wait to try their pizza!
Love love love this place, food is great quality extra cheesy, haven't dinner indoors yet but should soon, highly recommend, a little pricey but not out of this world and it's worth itFood: 5/5
Great family Italian restaurant. Amazing food, been coming here longer than I can remember now and it's always been amazing Food: 5/5
Our favorite spot for pizza and we eat here at least once a month. However, I am giving it 4 stars because the last time we ate there we observed staff members at the front of the house eating snacks in front of guests and then handling cannoli with their bare hands to fill them without washing their hands first. Let's put it this way, I won't be ordering dessert next time we go.
