Absolutely superb food and service in every regard. If you're looking for proper homemade Puerto Rican food, this is the place in Miami!! Seriously! Well balanced combination of traditional dishes along with some creative spins with traditional Puerto Rican flavors. To qualify or write up, we just returned from 10 days in Puerto Rico visiting family and this is good as anywhere we had on the island.
Great food, portions presentation & price. The owner makes you feel like you're with family. I'm not Puerto Rican but have visited the island a lot and this is the best food outside of the island.
This is a really wonderful place mainly for take out but with a few tables should you want to eat in. I tried the pollo Asado with salad white rice and habichuelas and the chef also brought out the black beans for me to try. They do a lot of deliveries and can also cater. The quality of the food was spectacular and I will be going there regularly and working my way through the extensive menu. Go try it you will definitely not be disappointed!
Wow! For catering events - Jorge is the best in town. Diverse food and very delicious.
The new neighborhood Pollo place!!! And with a good, home seasoned chicken Puerto Rican style. Its owner, chef Jorge, is there from 10 am to 10pm cooking the chickens, making rice and those yummy Puerto Rican habichuelas guisadas or Cuban style black beans. Excellent price and attention. He offers catering and rents the kitchen, according to the flyer I got. There's a delivery guy, but I called my order from home and he had it ready for me when I got there. There's one drawback, though. No parking and he's right in front of the bus stop so you can't really park there for a minute for pick up. And there's no eating area inside. But the chickens and opening specials are worth it.
A-MAZE-ING This was a very quite place but don’t let that fool you, the owner a humble man but gives excellent service and his cooking is amazing. Flavors are perfection, authentic food they do door dash if you want to order to go, but everything was made fresh. This is definitely a must to visit if your in Miami. Thank you for making our first experience a memorable one. It won’t be long before this place is expanding.
This was the most amazing Puerto Rican restaurant I've been to in the states!! The food was amazing, the flavors are authentic to PR and I did not try a dish I did not love. Authentic and Delicious PuertoRican food!!! I always order Mofongo no pork and the red bean soup no meat. Staff goes out if its way to make the client happy! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
Loved the food. Loved the prices. The chef was incredibly talented. The place didn’t have any sit down areas to eat but the food was perfect to take home. After we ate, our stomachs were full past dinner. It was a great “problem” to have! I’d HIGHLY recommend this food and these people!
