The food was very unimpressive. The Chips and Salsa were good but our entrees were very lackluster. Drinks were great and service was good. Great view. Menu needs variety and the taste could be improved.Recommended dishesChips and Salsa
The food boasts delightful flavors with ample portions, and the server consistently demonstrated attentiveness whenever we needed anything. I think This place deserves a higher ratingFood: 5/5
this place has pleasant servers and great food. maybe it’s because we came on a monday night, but the food was out within 10 minutes! the complimentary chips and salsa were very great too; four stars only because i found a hair in it. but overall a nice dining experience.Food: 5/5
If you are looking for authentic tex/mex. Look no further. As I always try to do I asked our server about her life and how she ended up where she was and made a new friend. Who would have known I would walk off and leave my card and special photos of the aquarium. One phone call and my friends agrees to mail them to me. Amazing service thanks again Ariana!!
I ordered the shrimp and fries. I cut the shrimp to dip it in the sauce and as soon as I took 1 bite, I could INSTANTLY tell that it was fresh out of the water! I have never tasted shrimp so fresh inland ever before and I was very impressed. The service was outstanding. We sat at the bar and I do believe the bartenders name was Charleston. We were on our way to a concert and ordered our drinks. It was getting kind of late and we were like is he going to come back over here and take our order and the next thing you know, people were bringing out our plates. He was over there multitasking like a mug! The food and the drinks were on point and I'll definitely go back there again!
the second floor hostess won’t let people in even when the cafe is empty. She tells people to wait at least 30 min. Showing up her behavior. The food was okay, no paper menus, only through browser. Other staff were friendly and super nice. You can’t get any modifications to the dishes, so they won’t cook the guacamole fresh without jalapeños for you.The view from window sits is awesome.
My son and I visited before going to the Ga Aquarium. I ordered the Nachos Picadillo and not only was it fantastic, it was absolutely huge! Our waitress was super friendly, we had come in the back stairs and she told us to sit wherever we wanted, service was quick and food was delicious. My son ordered an enchilada and was equally as pleased. Will definitely be our "go to" restaurant when visiting that area of town.
The food and the bartender are easily the highlight of this experience, well besides the great location. My immediate recommendation would be to improve the experience at the hostess stand. The young lady was not welcoming at all. She looked at me and my friend, grabbed two sets of silverware and proceeded to walk towards the dining area. We weren't sure if we were supposed to follow or wait until she returned. So she topped and looked back towards us and we too walked towards the dining area. We sat in the bar area and that is when things took turn and in a good way. The bartender who told me his name but I have since forgotten was super personable and knowledgeable of the menu. His suggestions were spot on! We had the Chicken Toluca and chicken tacos. Both were pretty amazing and seasoned to perfection. I'm definitely going back for the Chicken Toluca. Parking: There is on street parking and parking available in an attached parking deck.
Food was not good! Service was great but overall the portions were very small, the quality was not great and the prices were high for our meals. Would not recommendFood: 1/5
Use the hotel's elevator and get off at the 2nd floor. Food is excellent. They always start you off with fresh-made tortilla chips and salsa that make the store-bought version pale in comparison. BTW, the upgraded queso salsa is worth it! Filling, but leave room for mains. On three separate nights, had enchiladas, shredded beef tacos and mixed beef/chicken fajitas. My favourite was the beef tacos, but fajitas are a close second. Save space for their light and fluffy beignets. Worth it and shareable if you are full from mains! Service is friendly and prompt with over checking. Ambience is not quite but also not loud. Would eat here again when in ATL.
