I’m so glad I didn’t know this place is was a chain until after going otherwise I would have really missed out. Tortilla soup was delicious. The canasta nachos were 5 star with so many components. Taquitos with sweet potatoes were so yummy with the sweet, spicy combo. I don’t know what they do to their chicken here but wow!! Lots of flavor, well balanced, fresh tasting! The modelo only comes in cans and that’s a bummer but the spicy tequila drink called something with storm in the title was so good!!
Loved the waiter Paul!!!! Such great service! He made us feel right at home. Enrique was such a great GM, first time seeing one bus tables. He was right there for his team!!! Highly recommend. Amazing margs!Food: 5/5
The actual servers are great but if you come for happy hour beware that the front desk will attempt to seat you in the restaurant where the HAPPY HOUR DOES NOT APPLY. I complained and the manager refunded me $16 on a $120 bill so they did attempt to rectify but still a frustrating end to an otherwise great dining experience.Food: 5/5
It's consistently solid Mexican with a tasty margarita list. Not ground breaking or innovative, but you're guaranteed a solid meal and some fun snacks. Came with some coworkers a few nights ago for a Christmas after party, and we were treated like family. Thank you for the amazing customer service.Food: 4/5
Dos has been around forever and it’s impressive how consistent they’ve remained. I went late on a Friday night. The place was not crazy packed but full enough. Quick service and good acoustics!Food: 4/5
We had an INCREDIBLE experience and got surprised by the food sizes. It’s really worth to order the brunch option. Please note: not every branch has it and it’s until 3/4pm You orden a drink, you can choose a meal option and you only pay the drink. Both the food and the drinks margaritas and Bloody Mary were super super delicious
We visited Dos Caminos this past Sunday for a Birthday brunch. It’s our second time visiting this location. We like the area because of the lively vibe and atmosphere. Staff is welcoming and friendly. The restaurant itself is nicely situated. Our initial cocktails at the bar downstairs were delicious but then the standard dropped. I had three or four cocktails and they got sweeter and I couldn’t tell whether they had any alcohol. They had no effect on me whatsoever. The food is on point but our server got a few things wrong on my order. I had the taco tour and requested two grilled and two battered along with the chicken. They all came out battered. We also had desserts which everyone seemed pleased with. Overall everyone had a good time and food was plentiful and affordable.
I am sure there are lots of great food places around Chelsea, but in my opinion Dos Camino's has the best Mexican food in the area. We had the Taco Tour with chicken, pork, fish, and steak tacos. They all tasted totally different from each other and all were wonderful! The guacamole is homemade and so fresh and delicious.Food: 5/5
They have a great happy hour. I believe it runs in two cycles: 3-6pm and 7-9pm, or something like that. Pretty decent options for happy hour, but bear in mind, it’s at the bar or the indoor lounge. My date said the taquitos de pollo and the chips and queso were pretty good. The drinks were fine too. Service was just ok; although seated at the bar, we felt a bit invisible to our bartender. It’s worth a visit though! Wheelchair accessibility: Accessibility friendly from the main street. However, the bathroom is down a flight of stairs !
Have been here twice now! Both day & night times are good to hang out here. The food was good, price is as expected for New York City. It is pretty close to Little Island and Chelsea marker & the High Line so makes for a great destination if you have planned an evening or a short trip. We ordered Empandas de plantano, large quac, Vegan cauliflower tacos were ok! with mojitos & margaritas to drink. The atmosphere is cool & decor is colorful too! Nice vibe.
