I would rate this a negative if i could.  I am not the type to pass judgement on one experience however i have to.  We had ordered pickup from the dots by oschner so while our car was being worked on across the street at kens we decided to grab a bite and kill time at dots by central. Before my husband and i were even 100% in the door of the place, we were basically told by a lady who i guess was the big dawg that they were too full for anyone else.  We said thats fine, we have a while and we will wait.we were actually told no by this lady.  She said they had too many people get there before us and they were going to have their orders taken and food made first.  Trying not to look shocked,  i said that is only reasonable and we are very patient. If not, could we order food to go and we will wait outside until its ready.nope.  shot down again.  The restaurant actually seemed to get silent and i was embarrassed at that point.  One of the other waitresses walked up i guess to try and save the diners face but not in get in trouble with the mean mama and said " we may slow down in half an hour or so and will have a table free if you wanna come back".  I could not take it any more.  I was not rude but i did kindly say that i will NEVER be back to this place again...that they made me feel like i had the scarlett lettwr on my chest or something and that we were insulted that they did not think we knew how a full restaurant worked...that we were saying we would wait for the next table. I dont know if something finally clicked in the first rude ladies head but all of a sudden she says "well if you want to wait outside we will call you when someone leaves"   and mind you...there were 3 bar seats open during all of this...not side by side but empty.  I walked out the door livid.  I usually do not get too rattled. I teust in God and i understand people will be people and we are not going to always get our way but at a diner that is supposed to be family friendly and loving i was disguested.       Sorry that was so long but i wanted to share that.  I cannot believe it is an isolated incident

Food is yummy the ladies at this Dot's Restaurant...yesterday was my first time trying the Big Cheesy and it was delicious!!
