This is the second Double Tree I've stayed in.  Our stay was for 3 days, 2 nights.  Hotel staff were friendly and welcoming.  Usual warm cookies upon arrival.  I booked a room with 2 double beds.  The room was clean, spacious and decorated with modern furniture and decor.  The hotel it self was only 10 to 15 minutes outside of down town Ottawa wich was great as we wanted to visit and see the sights without being right on the middle of the hustle and bustle.  My only complaint was the beds could have been in better condition.  The springs were a bit loud inside and could be felt while turning on the mattress.  That's the only reason Double Tree by Hilton didn't get a 5 star rating, but would stay there on my next visit to Ottawa.

Its a nice looking place, but not a place I will come back to. There is no coffee in lobby, the rooms are large but dimly lit and the staff is not very attentive at all. There is a nice gym, but the hours are restricted so, if you are working a lot, it is tough to take advantage of it. There are better, more modern options on the other side of the river that cater better to business travelers.

Always great place to stay. Great rooms. The gym / pool area is better than most hotels I have been at. Friendly staff. Breakfast buffet is great.

Went there last night for wedding reception. They were nice and it was clean. Drinks at bar were expensive though(it cost me $3.75 for 3/4 of a can of sprite).

Way nicer room than I expected. Everything seems clean and well stocked. The cookie was a nice touch. Hotel restaurant isn't the greatest though.
