This is a well maintained hotel! I could not find dust in my room bathroom shower tiles well maintained. This is a very old hotel with no renovation work done! But it is immaculately maintained. I like to use stairs instead of the elevator and the stair hallways were all clean and dust-free.

If you are tall over 6 feet the ceilings are low in the bathroom and in the hallways, but it is taller in the rooms just a little to low in the bathroom impossible to put on a shirt!

Lots of wood work detail would make a perfect wedding reception, or venue

This was a nice hotel about 40 minutes south of Pittsburgh. We were passing through Pittsburgh for business and heading south so it's location worked out great. The rooms were spacious and clean and had a pull out couch in the room. It also had a fridge for us to store some things for a couple of hours. There was also a kurieg coffee maker in the room, so getting coffee was easy in the morning. There were free cookies in the lobby at check in, the staff was very helpful and helped us get settled in. We were pretty in late and out early at the hotel, so we didn't really get to experience all of the amenities, but it was perfect for what we were looking for.

The DoubleTree at Meadow Lands was excellent.  I found the staff to be very friendly and accommodating.  They had a great workout room.  The beds were comfy, the room was clean and spacious, and the shower had great water pressure.  They even had little recycling bins in the room, which I really appreciated and have never seen before at another hotel.  Way to be ahead of the curve, Double Tree!  I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the area!

Does it get much better than DoubleTree by Hilton? Probably not! The warm cookie upon check in, super soft beds, etc! This location in Pittsburgh meadowlands is directly across the street from a super cool outlet mall AND a Casino! Also, it's maybe 45 secs from interstate 79! Several restaurants nearby and the buffet style breakfast added to the awesomeness. Highly recommended

First time I stayed at a Double Tree and was pleasantly surprised when my already stellar hotel staff handed me a warm fresh baked cookie!  Checking in was a little busy so I checked out their small snack and toiletry shop and they had everything you could want (or forget at home in my case) and more!  The room was stellar, clean, and very comfortable.  A big comfy couch, work desk, and a breakfast menu for room service awaited me as soon as a walked it.  The hotel is conveniently located right next to the Casino, a strip with Primanti Brothers, a soon to be brewery, and less than half an hour from Pittsburgh (off peak hours).  The town of Washington (10 minute drive South) also has some nice places to visit from small restaurants, to a brewery, and a couple of decent sounding breakfast spots.  If I am staying in the Pittsburgh area again, you can count on me coming back from my second time (and second cookie!)
