Used Uber eats to deliver, great service, quick. The food was okay. I like onions, but whoa! Huge chunks of onion on the pizza and salad, so beware. The sauce was very minimal and overpowered by the toppings. They also forgot to include my 2-Liter of soda for the family meal. On the plus side, the breadsticks were delicious!!! Overall with a few adjustments to my future order, I will give Dough Boys another shot sometime..
Best pizza in town! So many pizza combinations, love that they sell by the slice too so I can try all of the options! Yummy salads and breadsticks too!
I'm new to the area and have been looking for a new favorite pizza place. I think I found it. Now, everyone has their own preference in pizza style, so take my review with that in mind. For a reference on my pizza tastes, my favorite pizza; if cost isn't an issue, is Zeeks pizza in the Seattle area. On a budget it's Costco pizza; I do so miss their combination pizza. Now that I mention the Costco combination pizza; that is the missing piece of my heart that I am looking to replace. Dough Boys has done just that though not at $10 : . Their 18" is no joke! I have an appetite and can take down half a Costco pie on my own ok, 3/4. 2 slices of Dough Boys and I am in a euphoric food coma! portions: 10/10 And at $26, getting twice the milage over Costco, the value ain't bad! Further, getting the family meal special makes it even better! Value: 10/10 The pizza itself is a thing of beauty! The toppings are evenly placed and appropriately chopped. The cheese is perfect. The crust is slightly thicker than I normally prefer; just a bit thicker than Costco. It was cooked just slightly south of perfect though with an 18" pie and tons of veggies and meats, you can't be too picky. The bottom of the pie was near perfect; almost crispy. The top layer of dough was just slightly doughy; not enough to get that grose yeasty flavor, but enough to miss that perfect "bite". It could have done with one more minute in the oven. Overall I am very satisfied with the quality. 9.5/10 I ordered online, which was a pleasant experience. I opted to pick up the pizza, as I wanted to experience their pizza as fresh as possible. The estimated wait time was 90-120 minutes. I ordered at 6pm on a Wednesday. 1 pizza bread sticks and a 2-lieter. I was not impressed with the time estimate; though was pleasantly surprised when I received a phone call at 6:40 from a store employee letting me know that it would be ready in 15 minutes. Total time was 60 minutes from the time I ordered to the time I got the pizza home and took the first bite. Even if it had taken 120 minutes, it would have been worth it. Customer service: 10/10 Thanks Dough Boys!
I was excited to try this place out, and it wasn’t bad, I’m just not sure how quickly I’ll come back to order from here again. Service was great, employees were friendly, and they delivered my pizza to my car for me. But upon picking up that first slice when I got home half of my toppings slid off. Crust was a tad overcooked, and the sauce wasn’t the most flavorful, but it wasn’t the worst pizza I’ve ever had either. The price:flavor ratio just isn’t quite there for me, but as opinions vary, I still think they’re worth at least one try! And yes, I’m a pineapple-on-my-pizza lover.
My crust was exploded and the middle was a little under cooked. Generous amount of toppings. I think their pizza might be better than what I got typically. My kid loved the slice of cheese he got. I was underwhelmed for a $30 pizza
Best slice I know! We got a couple of slices and a giant garlic twist. Slices were legitimately the best! The garlic twist was nice, light, and fluffy. The slices only cost $1.50 during the last hour they’re open, an amazing deal for the amazing quality!Recommended dishesBreadsticks, Pizza by the Slice
Good pizza, a minute or 2 longer would have been perfect. Fresh ingredients, well distributed, the giant pizzas actually are giant, might need strength training to carry multiples lol. Tried 4 specialties on 2 Giant pizzas, Price is very reasonable for what you get. Great job.
The pizza is already really great. Tried the new Buffalo hot sticks. Sooo good, loaded with all the stuff including cream cheese! Will hope they keep that one going on the menu.
We were exposed to pizza from here the previous night while working in a concession stand at a local HS...Seeing the morning breadsticks really peaked my interest & the recommendations of the HS students saying their pizza is great too led us there for dinner last night. It’s in the parking lot of Albertsons in Salmon Creek. It’s a small space but comfortable for limited seating options if you can’t wait to dig in the seating tacked though could have used a wipe down...there was only 2 people in there at the time we placed our Togo order. We selected “large” pizzas - 1 Taco which is my absolute favorite pizza & 1 Hawaiian which is my husbands favorite. We were about to order 2 orders of breadsticks when we were told we should get the party pack which included those 4 thinks & 2 liter of soda for only $39.99 which was a savings. The wait time as about 40 mins...that was slightly disappointing since it probably would be less if they had more employees working...they had us check the order before leaving to ensure accuracy which I was appreciative of. The pizza itself was very good - better than many other local options even with the jalapeños which I like but in small doses & sour cream which I’ve never put on a taco pizza before...The breadsticks were also amazing - the marina was slightly less amazing but wasn’t bad. I wish they had an Alfredo dipping sauce...The next day, we were concerned with the taco pizza not being as good especially the crushed Doritos on top but it was still pretty good. We are definitely going to go back since there are several pizza combinations we want to try. Highly recommend this if you are craving pizza & breadsticks
UPDATE: As a follow up to my previous review of Dough Boys Pizza.. I am offering up 5 Stars, and here's why... Ownership responded to my previous review within 25 minutes of my posting it. I felt like the response I recieved was appropriate, professional, and from a place of genuine interest. They made up for my dissatisfaction with ownership bringing me another pizza and speaking with me personally. I admire and respect their gestures and willingness to mitigate a complaint. I am impressed by their actions. AND... the pizza was delicious. I'm giving 1 star. The one star is for actually receiving my pizza. I ordered delivery. I was charged $9.50 for the "delivery fee". Highest delivery fee I've ever paid for any pizza, anywhere. It took me 1 hour, 38 minutes to receive my pizza. That's insane. On top of that, I recieved 2 calls from the delivery driver, which to my surprise was employed by the Door Dash service. The driver stated he was lost and needed help. I had to text the driver the exact same address I provided Dough Boys Pizza to get him here. Just not a good experience at all. I would not order pizza from here again.
