The service here sucks they use the bathroom and eat without washing their hands I had to tell them constantly to wash their hands before continuing with my hair. The braids were awesome. But if I have to choose between my health or an awesome hairdo my health wins hands down!!!! **Why should I have to repeatedly tell someone to wash their hands they should already know this cleanliness is next to GODLINESS** (AS MUCH AS THEY PRAY IT SHOULD BE SECOND NATURE TO THEM)

Braided my hair way to tight and charged 105 dollars for cornrows. My hair was braided so tight the skin broke on my scalp. I had to take it out after a few days. It was too painful. Thankfully my hair did not break off because I am natural and I did a protein treatment before I went in. My scalp however is very red and has open sores. Stay away from these braid shops in this area. Go to Philadelphia or New York

The braiders at Dounaba are very rude ,has poor body hygiene (no lie)and are so impolite to african American clientele.They will talk about you in French and got bad attitudes during the whole time you are getting your hair braided.I stopped going to them a long time ago.

I had  a horrible  experience  from another braiding salon....so I walk in to DOUNABO HAIR SALON...and they took me right in with no problem....I was happy pleased  my hair  looks fabulous the ladies  where kind and very respectful to me and we laugh  through  my time spent there....I'm loving  my kinky twists
