Dowd Restoration has been in business since 2004.
We specialize in Historic homes & buildings -( i.e. Craftsman, Denver Square, Bungalow, Victorian, Mid-Century and similar )
Remodel, renovations, interior and exterior painting, restoration, remodel, carpentry and wood refinishing.
Historic Restoration
Keeping the company small enables us to manage each project on a daily basis. All painters, refinishes and labor are employees of Dowd Restoration. We do not sub-contract our jobs. We take pride in our work, customer satisfaction is our top priority.

Can't speak to the quality of their work, but I called, and called, and called, and called to get help with a historic restoration project. Not once, was my called returned. I know the economy is good right now, but this lack of customer service won't help you when another economical downturn happens! I guess the good news is that I've learned how to complete many restoration projects myself.

Jim and his team did a terrific job restoring my deck and painting my house. I was very impressed with his commitment to getting the job done right of the highest quality and making sure I was satisfied with it before finishing...even with a few mid project change requests. Deck needed to be stripped, sanded, screws and nails reset, and stained. The deck looks great. House needed water damage fixed, patched and painted. House looks great. All at a reasonable price. I feel comfortable that Jim and his team would make a return visit to do any touch-ups if necessary. Jim's crew is talented and professional, great customer service.

Jim and his excellent team refinished and rebuilt my redwood deck AND restored my stamped concrete patio. They both look like new and our backyard has been restored to our sanctuary once again. Jim's pricing was fair and his materials were all top notch, he does not cut corners on the quality of his work or his craftsmanship. If you are getting bids for this kind of work, get one from Dowd Restoration--seriously--I will bet you use Jim Dowd to make your home shine like new again!

Dowd Restoration Deck Refinishing did a super good job of our old wood deck - pressure washing, stripping, sanding, and restaining and resealing the wood - with a minimum of mess, Very pleased to find this Denver craftsman and his team!
