I love working with the staff at this theater. Always friendly and helpful, makes putting on a production simple. Also a great venue for watching a show. Truly no bad seats.

Wonderful program of the highest quality.  The conductor and Music Director, Sharon Lavery puts her whole body and soul into bringing the best performance of her orchestra to the audience.  She really conveyed the love and joy she has for music.  Downey Symphony Orchestra is fortunate to have her! The orchestra is the real thing with all the musicians performing at such a superior level that allows the audience to enjoy a symphony at it's best.

It's a bit dated. The theatre is fine though. Not the greatest but adequate seating. It's nothing special, one way or the other.

Downey Theatre is a modest sized venue for local events and concerts. It apparently shares free parking with an hotel, so depending on the event or season parking could be difficult I suppose. Seating inside is a little more comfortable than other similar theaters in local cities, but is not on par with large venues say in Los Angeles or some other metropolis. Sound is not the best, but that may depend on part on the event organizers?

Saw the musical Treasure Island. Great venue, great entertainment, and the kids in the audience had an awesome time.
