We are a group of local artists who share the delight and responsibility of putting forth a visual arts presence in Clarksville for the purpose of encouraging creativity and educating our community in the area of fine arts.
The DAC space at 96 Franklin Street has a fine arts gallery for monthly exhibitions by member artists as well as other local artists through our regular outreach shows. We also have a retail gallery space where full and consignment members show their work on an ongoing basis, including paintings, drawings, photography, mixed media works, jewelry, ceramics and other items produced by a creative variety of local talent.
Receptions for the public are held during each First Thursday ArtWalk from 5:00 to 8:00 PM.
Additional outreach to the community includes: Extension Galleries (exhibitions) at the Clarksville Montgomery County Library and Gateway Hospital; workshops, gallery talks, lectures, readings, etc scheduled at DAC and in the community; and sponsorship of and affiliation with other creative groups by providing meeting space and support as possible.
