I have been a customer of Downtown Salon for a little over a year now.  After trying numerous salons in my area and not being too happy with the results, I asked for a recommendation from a friend who always has wonderful looking hair.  She suggested Downtown Salon and Tom the stylist.  The Salon is a bit out of my way, I'm from Randolph, but traveling a little is well worth the trip.  I am extremely happy with my hair each time.  I usually have my hair dyed, hi-lighted and cut.  In addition,  the people who work at Downtown, are all friendly and welcoming.   I would highly recommend giving this gem a try.

I love this place.  I walked in on a Sunday morning needing a trim and blowout in a hurry. The woman at front desk immediately accommodated me, sent me back to sink and followed to wash/condition my hair.  Barbara was to be the person to trim. I told her I just needed it to look neat for a funeral. I thought it was fine when I walked out the door. Much to my surprise...ALL of my family members "LOVED" the hair cut.  I got way to many compliments at wa wake.  Sooo...thank you so very much to Barbara.

When I find someone I like to cut my hair, it's hard for me to change. I followed Allison to Down Town Salon. So the fact that she likes it there means I like it there.

Nicole saved my (hair's) life! I had never been to this salon before but after a color-gone-wrong on Saturday, I was desperate to find a salon open on Sundays. I found DTS and called first thing Sunday morning. Nicole was available for a 10 am appointment. She saw my awful, awful pink and went right at getting it lifted. She was so attentive to my hair during the lift, making sure every last bit of the magenta was gone. We looked at swatches for a replacement color and because I was ready to leave my pastel pink days behind me, she found the perfect base blond. She put two brighter blond colors throughout as highlights and the end result was absolutely gorgeous. THANK YOU NICOLE!
