Just driving through and stumbled upon this gem. The name is awkward, but the shop is cozy and perfect for a small town cup of joe. My wife got iced coffee and I got a latte, and the setting of the Hotel next door is just too cool.

If you are near Mineral wells area- this is a must visit place. See the historic Baker hotel and this shop is just infront of it. The coffee is too good. I had one hot cup there and bought a pack ground coffee too. And yeah, still VCRs are there. Owners are super cool person.

If you want good coffee and other traditionally made beverages as well as some nature minded food snacks that are irresistible, this is the place period I would say that it's the best coffee and Mineral Wells. The people in the place are very friendly they like to talk, and you'll find yourself engaged in a conversation. I thought I would make an addendum to this review. The husband is a very nice guy who will go out of his way to help you out, but the wife is a Little Bit Too Faced. She'll be all friendly and you have a blessed day - ish , but if you're hurting a little bit for change, she's all about the money and don't let anyone tell you different. found that out first-hand. I don't plan to change this review unless I see future actions to the contrary.

The owners are absolutely awesome and very friendly. The atmosphere is warm comfortable, a great way to spend the day. We have been renting movies from Downtown Video for almost twenty four years. They have always been so cheerful and nice to us. We love their smoothies but we have not had the privilege yet to try their Jitter Bean Coffee. Friendship is a Priceless Gift that cannot be bought or sold, But its value is far greater than a mountain made of Gold. For gold is cold and lifeless, it can neither see nor hear And in the time of trouble it is powerless to cheer-- It has no ears to listen nor heart to understand, It cannot bring you comfort or reach out a helping hand So when you ask God for a gift Be thankful if HE sends not diamonds, pearls or riches But The Love of Real True Friends like Brian & Laura March is Priceless!

Downtown video is great for us. We can't get good internet and we dont watch tv so we occasionally get dvds from them. They have yummy smoothies and drinks and really good coffee.
