I have been a patient of Dr Chagnon's for several years and have nothing but praise. She is a brilliant physician and one of the kindest people that I know. I get an in office procedure every couple of months that is uncomfortable. With my prior neurologist the same procedure was painful and traumatic. Not only is Dr Chagnon far more skilled with the procedure, she is so empathetic that I often think the experience is harder on her than it is on me. Her office staff, most particularly Lisa, have also been fantastic. My insurance company has a contract with a specialty pharmacy that is a nightmare and makes endless mistakes. They have wasted countless hours of Lisa's time, yet she always goes to bat for me, manages to straighten things out, and gets the medication delivered in time. 
If you need a neurologist, you will be in excellent hands here. It took me a long time to leave my last neurologist even though he was not taking good care of me, because I was afraid someone else would be even worse. At my first appointment I literally cried with relief because I knew Dr Chagnon was going to help me and things were going to get better.

Today I received compassionate, well-informed care from Dr. Chagnon and her "physician assistant", Pit Bull, Hershey.  I am indebted to both of them for the healing they provided.

Perhaps Dr. Chagnon is a good doctor, but getting through her assistant/receptionist is a complete nightmare.  Very difficult.  Very disorganized.  They do not answer the phone.  Phone calls from their office during the evening rather than normal business hours.  Not compassionate.  After almost 2 months, the Dr. cancelled the appointment we had and referred us to Stanford,UC Davis, UCSF.  Meanwhile, my daughter had been brought in ER and admitted to hospital... imagine if her office was responsive and professional?  My daughter may not have gone through that trauma and we would already know what the problem is...
