An excellent Dr. I was feeling sick and was able to call in the afternoon and get an appointment the same day. When I arrived there were people waiting, and all the office staff were friendly. Even though I was a walk in, he stayed after office hours to see me. Dr. Goyal himself was very knowledgeable, and was genuinely concerned with me and my condition. He wasn't rushed or hurrying, and took the time to not only answer every question I had with concise plain answers. He took the time to learn about me and my family background, even though I was not there for anything other than a sick visit. He is an excellent doctor. I personally have never been to a better doctor. I would recommend him to everyone, even if it means a long drive to get to his office.

He is a very caring doctor. He answered all the questions that I had without being rushed. I would recommend him to all my family members.

This doctor Mr. Alok Goyal is pathetic. He should be professional enough to ask the ladies if he can keep his stethoscope directly in their body. He does not wash his hands after seeing one patient. Hence, hiegene factor is also very poor. Keeping his hands into my wife's stomach directly and moving until her chest without letting her know and not seeking her permission on what he would be doing before he starts his work is not acceptable. It is a very uncomfortable feeling for my wife and me as well. Also, as a protocol, every male doctor should have a female nurse by his side when a lady patient is seen. But in this case, he is the only one doctor who sees the patient in the room. Ideally, I would suggest someone from health department to visit his clinic and verify his credentials on how he checks his patients.

Dr. Goyal is an excellent doctor. For the last 25+ years he has been my wife's and my doctor. It may sound like we are senior citizens but fortunately not yet. Dr. Goyal is very knowledgeable & friendly. His explanations are always very detailed, yet easy to understand. We refuse to change our doctor, even though it takes us over 30 to 45 minutes to drive to his South Plainfield office.

Dr. Goyal is the greatest. He is a very caring person, explains your results in a language you can understand, not always using medical terms. He will not discuss results over the phone because of HIPPA rules otherwise his cell phone is available to all patients. Not trying to rush you out. I couldn't say more for the office staff. They are knowledgeable, explain all of your procedure preps without making you think you are wasting their time. I recommend Dr. Goyal for anyone with gastroenterology problem. I have and still will recommend him to anyone. You can't get a better doctor ! If could give 10 stars, I would.
