When I told Dr. Ahern about my medical condition, she seemed shocked and uneasy.  She made me feel really uncomfortable about it and responded that she just didn't know much about it.  It wasn't something strangely out of the ordinary in medical terms, but I felt as though she responded poorly.  In addition, her response to the reasons why I am taking medications was purely of negative judgment.  She simply said "that's weird," and made a disgusting face.  When I asked her "why is that weird," she responded with "I don't know, I guess I just don't know much about it, I don't know?"  Originally I came for a compatible birth control and would have continued my appointment if Dr. Ahern did not react and respond in the way that she did.  I simply am not going to support her or allow my family to either.
