He did my wisdom teeth. I paid about 1400 all said and done. Most of it was for anaesthesia. I woke up mid process. And was very aware of what he was doing. I wasmt lucid enough to speak but I kept removing my heart monitor on my finger when I couldn't stand it anymore. He'd lose my pulse stop amd id slip it back on. This went on at least 5 times. He never thought to check why I kept "crashing" 2nd he stitched the gum where one tooth used to be to my cheek. So I had to go back he had to remove them and redo the stitch work because my socket was left open which, led to DRY SOCkET which is agonizing! The guy also gave me percocet as a pain killer, I took the percocet and about an hour later massive rounds of vomiting which tore stitching open... And I had to go back. Now mind you I tried the percocet 3 times and an hour later vomited each time. So I called him and explained what was happening and asked for something else as clearly percocet wasnt working. He wrote me a new script of PERCOCET at tripke the original strength. Took one and vomited for hours. In short it took everything I had to talk my parents out of suing this guy for the nightmare I endured. Id avoid him at all costs unless you have NO ALTERNATIVE.

had to have 5 wisdom teeth removed and a rather painful cyst in my jawline and the procedure while a little frightening to think about was amazingly smooth and actually quite fast. I would highly recommend them as an oral surgeon. They do only accept cash and certified checks so be aware that you should make sure that you have what you need on you. The healing has been flawless and easy, and pretty painless frankly. Thanks to all of the lovely staff at the Dicosimo offices!

In response to Jennifer Reksc's review , I was in the waiting room that day and the "meltdown' that the administrative assistant had I was told was because she had just found out that her father had died suddenly of a heart attack and her co-workers were compassionate enough to console her. As far as my experience with Dr Dicosimo, it was was exemplary. He removed my son's 4 impacted wisdom teeth, quickly and efficiently, he and the office staff were very professional and caring. The nurse stayed with my son until he woke up from the anesthesia and made 100% sure that he was OK before they released him. I would highly recommend this Dr!

I needed a tooth extracted and was referred here by my primary dentist. I made sure my dentist knew exactly how disappointed I was. I was sent there with x-rays of the area. Once i showed up for my appointment I was informed that they required a panoramic x ray which they were sure my insurance wouldn't cover and I needed to pay $210 in cash or by check before we went any further. $131 for the x-ray and $79 for an exam. OK. Kind of strange I thought. Then I saw that they were pulling this with everyone I saw walk in. I watched them actually tell a girl to go to the gas station ATM and then come back. Dr DeCosimo was nice enough and the tooth came out. That being said, it certainly did remind me of the dentist visit as a kid many years ago. Antiquated. If any of my family or friends ever received a referral to go there, I would definitely do my best to sway them away. My regular dentist could not figure out why I needed additional X-rays at additional out of pocket cost and was very glad to here about the billing practices.

Dr. DiCosimo is wonderful! I had to have a mole removed from my face (infected), and I was really worried because I didn't want a scar. I couldn't believe how well it healed!!! You can't even see where it was done!!! I'm also really nervous when it comes to needles, but the nurse was so sweet. She put me at ease and got me though it. I can't recommend this office enough!
