An awful awful dentist.  Not trustworthy.  More concerned about maximizing his insurance payout (coming up with work to get the maximum amount of money from insurance) than being honest.  He found four "cavities" that in hindsight I don't think were actual cavities.  After I got those filled, he found more "cavities" at which point I decided to get a second opinion.  I have not had another cavity in 7 years since switching to other dentists.  One of the fillings has given me problems over the years which is maddening since I don't think it should have been drilled in the first place.

How can you say that you don't mind going to the dentist when it's Dr. Chellemi.  After years of neglecting my dental care, I found Dr. Chellemi.  I recently had a root canal done and almost fell asleep during the procedure.  Dr. Chellemi and the staff make sure you are  comfortable and are resassuring all through any procedure.  They work with you and your insurance to get the most coverage for you.  They treat you as a person with a tooth and not a tooth without a person.  I wish I would have met Dr.Chellemi years ago.

If you are looking for a dentist in Lansdale, this group of professionals at Dr. Chillemi's practice actually makes the often dreaded trip, fun. They run the practice like clockwork, send a reminder text the day before, and help navigate the complicated insurance landscape. They focus on the whole person, more than just filling cavities. Dr. Chillemi and the hygentists have a great senes of humor. I would highly recommend.
