I have been seeing Dr Amron off and on for over 10 years mainly for my skin. He is the ONLY person I trust as though the years I have experienced Botox and laser treatments from others as well but Dr Amron is THE BEST and I highly recommend him to everyone! I went to The Roxbury Institute to see him recently particularly because my skin has started to pigment in odd places from sun damage I have had since my childhood. I am 36 years old and do NOT want to have ageing skin already! 3 days ago I received a laser treatment and my skin has changed drastically for the better! Can't wait to go back for my weight loss struggles and continue on the perfecting and protecting my skin needs from Dr Amron!!

This guy is great! Very different approach than other doctors in this field. He really evaluates your face and body from an artistic standpoint, and then makes suggestions on how to best use the products and services available. The place is absolutely gorgeous and the staff is just amazing. Blown away! Go see him. Run to him. You will be a patient for life.

I had 2 lymph sparing liposuctions performed by Dr. Amron in 2015 and 2016. Having Lipedema from a young age, my puberty was filled with constant pain in my legs, shame of looking different and being made fun of. Finally I got diagnosed with Lipedema at age 22. Throughout the years I did everything to "cure"myself; I restricted myself, ate healthier, workout out harder, wore compression stockings every single day ( since 13 years so far...) and still was in constant pain. I couldn't stand or sit for long and developed varicose veins. When I first met Dr. Amron I was thrilled that there was someone that specializes in Lipedema. He explained the process and what to excpect. I was impressed with his knowledge and felt very comfortable and in good hands. I was so ready to get rid of that stubborn fat, and especially the pain! After the first operation in 2015 (circumferential ), I saw a significant reduction in size in my upper legs, the pain completely disappeared in the operated area and the shape of my legs looked just beautiful. For the first time in years I felt that I can really love my legs and it was actually fun to look in the mirror! :) My second operation was in December 2016. I got my lower legs and my arms done. I am still recovering, but I am already in love with my arms and can see how nice and tight my lower legs are now. It's important to get the procedure done by a professional like Dr. Amron. If it wouldn't be for him, I would still be suffering! He is a fantastic doctor and really knows what he is doing! I am so grateful to him, his team and the nurses that helped me through this. Special thanks to Lisa who did an amazing job with the IV and pain medication, Christine who gave me instructions and a care packet, Evelyn who did the after care, Ingrid and Marchelle. Dr. Amron and his team were a blessing for me! I am 30 now and I never felt better! I am forever grateful to all of you!!! Much love! Susann O.

Dr. Amron is NOT THE LIPEDEMA SPECIALIST that he claims to be. I am a Physician Assistant and did extensive research to find a surgeon that specializes in lipedema. I needed liposuction on my lower body especially on my thighs and above my knees. I made an appointment with Dr. Amron and during our consultation, he was extremely confident. He spoke intelligently about my condition medically and aesthetically. He assured me that he could get great results and remove 5 liters of fat in one procedure. He said the surgery would help alleviate the pain in my knees. I was so relieved to have found the right doctor. Oh, was I wrong! The procedure was extremely painful. It was done under local anesthesia, meaning I was awake throughout the procedure. I was crying and shaking, it was so unbearable. I was close to blacking out from the trauma and pain. The pain seriously haunts me until today! When it was over, I wanted to see how much fat was taken out. The nurse pointed to the canister that had lots of fluid and blood but not much fat, and it was only a total of 2.5 liters! When I voiced my concern, Dr. Amron said he was also surprised that he didn’t need to take out more. I was sent home with instructions. I wore expensive custom compressions ($400 for 2) for one month, walked 2 miles a day, and saw a lymphatic masseuse for $275 for a 30 minute session. I waited patiently for the swelling to go down and after one month, THERE WAS NO DIFFERENCE. At my follow up visit, Dr. Amron said he was “perplexed” and that he would think about what to do and call me soon. He didn’t get back to me for months. Then, he had me see another doctor to see if I did in fact have lipedema and if I had fluid trapped which would prevent him from doing another surgery. She confirmed that I did have lipedema and showed that I had fat that could have been removed. Dr. Amron insisted I wait at least one year before he would go in again for a second procedure but I lost complete trust in him. I wanted my money back so that I can get this procedure done with a more qualified surgeon that would actually produce results but he refused. He offered half the surgeon’s fee or to do the surgery again at no cost. I spent over $10,000 and 2 weeks off of work for the worst pain and NO RESULTS. It has been almost a year and a half since my surgery on March 31, 2015 and based on my before and after pictures, measurements, and weight there is still absolutely NO CHANGE except that I am left with pigmented scars, trauma from the excruciating pain during surgery, and a loss of my hard earned money. PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH AND READ THE MANY NEGATIVE REVIEWS.

WORST DOCTOR FOR LIPEDEMA AND LIPOSUCTION. Beware of this Doctor. No results. Extremely painful. See filtered yelp reviews. He has over 61 and counting.
