Dr. Selby was rude and curt with me. I excitedly brought in some alternative supplements to show him. Without hesitation he cut me off immediately and didn't permit me to show him what I had. He made a broad generalization that anything that isn't mainstream is a scam. (I don't remember the exact words he used, but that's what he meant.) I would NEVER go to any doctor that is so closed minded to not want to learn about something new and different. I was belittled and invalidated as a patient. When I called to make a final payment and explained to the staff person that I was going to leave a very negative review here, she hung up on me. Then I called back to give her my credit card number. She had no desire to know why I felt the way I did in order to try to learn and grow from this and to try to make me feel better. Oh well, I guess all they care about is money and not the well-being of their patients. Bottom line, I did not deserve to be treated that way. I would never recommended him to anyone until he learns proper bedside manner.

I wouldn't recommend Dr. Selby to anyone. First he has no care giving skill, outdated in his knowledge and gets on his political soapbox. Moreover, if there are disputes (in my case there was), his office managers lack 100% customer service skill or intent. They will drop you like a hot potato and say it is all yours and insurance company's fault. Lazy in their service, unprofessional in their interactions when things don't go well.

I have been a patient for several years. He is an excellent doctor and very knowledgeable/ helpful.

Dr Selby has been my primary care physician for about 10 years now. Very knowledgeable, up to date on new studies and procedures. I have been diagnosed with Degenerative Disc Disease. Dr Selby has helped me in treatment and preventing the degeneration from worsening. He always takes the time to explain everything in great detail, x-ray's, medications, strengthening of my core, PT....etc. I really can't say enough enough great things about Dr. David Selby and his support staff. I saw there were people who wrote negative reviews about Dr. Selby. These people most likely are never happy with anything. I know three other people personally who use Dr. Selby and have never had anything bad to say about his medical practice.
