I had undergone SIX prior surgeries in the Minneapolis area (all microdiscetomy surgeries by WONDERFUL surgeons). However, it was apparent that I needed a fusion. I was in as much pain as a human can stand (verified by my insane high blood pressure which was also causing its own medical emergency). In a matter of three hours, I went from being hopeless to elated as he fused my L4-S1 and I awoke - for the first time in almost a decade - with NO sciatic pain. He promised relief and delivered. Thank you Dr. Belanger!

Dr Belanger did my back surgery in November 2015. He fused the 5 lower vertebrea together. He made me feel so comfortable. His whole staff is wonderful. They were so helpful in getting my surgery set up. I live 150 miles from the hospital. This is the first time in 30 years that I have no back pain. .

I had my surgery on 9/15/16, just 2 weeks after my initial visit with the WONDERFUL DOCTOR! I had been in severe pain for the past 2 years, and it was only get worse with each passing month. I went to 3 local Doctors in Bismarck, 2 at Sanford, and 1 at St. Alexius. All were classic disasters! Each one failing on so many levels at Doctoring, that I would never have entrusted my back surgery to any of them. Then the heavens opened, the angels sang, and I met Dr. Belanger! By far the most knowledgeable, friendly, and patient Doctor in the bunch. He knew what my problems were, and walked me through what the procedure would be, the recovery, and what level of pain I could expect after the whole event. Never talking down to me. Never downplaying my need for help, or making me feel like it was something I could magically make disappear. I had been through the shots, physical therapy, pills and nothing had made a smidge of difference. 2 weeks after meeting him, he operated on my back. I had a complete laminectomy on my C4, and C5, with a partial on my C3 vertebrae. As of today, it's been 2 weeks since then. Before, I had intense sciatic pain all down the left side of my body, and had to resort to a wheelchair if I wanted to go outside of the house. Now, I can walk a quarter of a mile with almost NO PAIN! No cane or wheelchair needed!!! I can only imagine that as I walk more, and get out more, I may return to an almost 100% normal human being again, with little or no pain as I live my everyday life. God gave me a miracle, and it came in a Dr. Belanger shaped package. Thank you Dr. Belanger for helping me live again!

Dr. Belanger made me feel very comfortable. He was easy to understand and I felt like my condition was number one priority. He explained both procedures with detail so I was able to comprehend exactly what I was having done. He was very good with follow up and gave me a lot of time to ask questions. I would have never been so comfortable had it not been for him or Heather. Thank you so much! Sincerely, Bambi Bruce
