I would like to say that Dr. Minium is a great dentist and we miss him in this office. Since the office changed we had nothing but issues with Lifetime Dental. Every time one of us from my family went into the office for a cleaning we ended up with a balance. We had no choice but to find a new dentist office. We know Dr. Minium had to do what was best for him, but we truly miss when this was his office. He didn't run it this way... new hygienists every visit, always sat for at least 30 minutes, we'd show for our appointment to be told we weren't scheduled, always trying to be sold something, balance every visit even for a routine cleaning, etc.

Things have changed here since joining the Lifetime Dental Program.  I had an appointment yesterday, which I thought was my 6 month routine cleaning and xrays.  It seems like they are always trying to sell you something. There was a new hygienist (every time I go there it's someone new), and I remarked about that, and was told that would be changing.  After an hour of multiple xrays, poking and prodding for perio charting, I still hadn't had my teeth cleaned.  In the 20 years that I've been going to Dr. Minimum, I've never had this done.  And after all of this, they wanted to me to stay even longer to have my teeth cleaned!  Are you kidding me?  Why wasn't I told this upfront?  With all of the phone calls and text messages they send you to make sure you don't miss an appointment, someone should have told me what to expect at this appointment.  Now I'm supposed to make another appointment to go back for a cleaning, since I was so angry and left without making one.  Seriously entertaining finding another dentist.

The dentist himself is pretty decent - he's really good at putting you at ease if you're uncomfortable. And the hygienist that I saw was very gentle. The problem is that the receptionists misled me about how much my bill was going to be and tried to rip me off. I won't ever go back there because of the way they treated me.
