My mother is Dr. Gelman's patient. She is the most hard-nosed, old school, dyed in the wool registered nurse that you can imagine. Dr. Gelman takes the time to address her needs, come up with solutions she agrees to and complies with, and never loses patience. He must be giving her good advise as she has a reputation for calling MD's out on poor advice. Patience, empathy, professionalism and intelligence. A winning combination.
