I have mixed feelings about his care. One he is a good doctor. He has given an honest opinion about the condition of my.overall health. On the other, he has been a little rude towards me my last visit on Feb. 3, 2017. He dismissed me in a unprofessional manner after I came in to see if he could check on a very bad bruise on my right foot. My podiatrist was not available that day so I went to him for help. He immediately told me it was his (podiatrist) problem! Not mine. I can't help you.

For some twelve years visiting him, everything went well, although he behaved rude sometimes, especially when his office was packed. The last visit, around three months ago, was a disaster. He acted extremely rude, left me alone in the small office without even saying goodbye or that's all for today. I felt really at sea, no knowing what to do!!! Never again!!!

I am a type 1 diabetic diagnosed 43 years ago.  Moved to Corpus a year ago.  Referred to Dr Sandoval as diabetic specialist.  First thing told me on first visit Is that I was Type 2 not one that I had been miss diagnosed.  I have worked with UT Medical School Dallas for 25 years with their diabetic research department, who trust a lot more than Dr in Corpus.  Dr Sandoval  later told me he does type 2 research, which put concern is he really treating me properly.  Today I asked for new prescription for glucometer test strips & he refused to prescribe more than one test a day saying all néed to do.  As a insulin dependent diabetic I have to test each meal AM PM middle of night & during day if feel sugar levels out of balance.  How he can claim to be a diabetic specialist is a real question????????

I have been seeing Dr. Sandoval since July of 2014. In that time, he has, quite rightly, made mention of my weight at every visit. I know I have a weight problem and he is the first doctor who has actually shown an interest in me losing weight.

However, this week, I saw him for a bad case of bronchitis. During my visit, I mentioned that I hadn't been able to hold food down for over 24 hours. His response was "Good. Maybe you'll lose weight."

I can only hope that this was a joke, but it certainly did not come across as one.
