I met Dr Stefancin 2 yrs. ago when I fractured
my clavicle. I knew as soon as I met him I was in good hands. My first impression of him was that he was a very kind, humble physician who knew what he was doing and would get me through this.
Then, 2 yrs later I fractured my patella ( knee cap).Again he was there for me. I went to surgery to have him repair the fracture. Before he started he talked to me with so much kindness and assurance, he alleviated all my fears and I knew I would be ok. Also, I might add I was an add-on to his already long, busy day. He never said a word about that but treated me as if I was his first patient of the day.
To make a long story short, I would recommend Dr. Stefancin to anyone needing orthopedic intervention. He is a very experienced, very capable, gifted orthopedic surgeon. One more thing. When many, many employees at one of the hospitals in Youngstown prefer to go to him, that speaks volumes about his work and competency.
