Dr. Bowers is the absolute best! I just moved to DC and had the strangest dental SOS--a small piece of apple caught in between my tooth and my gum. After googling the best dentists on Capitol Hill, I walked into his office--a very nice building on a row of houses straight down the front entrance of the Capitol building--and was greeted by his excellent staff. Better yet, he took the apple out in two seconds and did not even bother to charge me! Highly recommend Dr. Bowers!

I went to Dr. Bowers for cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Bowers came up with a great plan within my budget and executed it perfectly. I am thrilled with how everything turned out. He answered all of my questions, explained the different options and gave a thoughtful recommendation.  He always follows up via email and is very responsive. It's very important to him that his patients are happy so he was constantly offering to tweak things to make sure I was satisfied. Even my periodontist was impressed with his work. The whole office especially his assistant Tracey is the best. I will recommend him to all of my family & friends!

Professional, thorough, friendly, communicative, helpful, warm, understanding, practical, honest and relaxed... I walked away from my first appointment thinking that when I have kids, this will be the dental experience I want them to have. Focus was on health and my priorities, not selling bleaching or grinding through just another cleaning. If you don't mind filling your insurance claim yourself - they fill out the paperwork for you - this is the place to go.

I had a procedure done at a different dentist that was botched twice. I sought out Dr. Bowers after looking at a few of the best rated dentists in DC, to re-do the operation.  What stood out to me from start to finish was both his genuine warmness and confidence in his ability to perform the procedure.  I was still pretty anxious going in, and when he was finished, seeing his own expression told me all I needed to know before I had even looked in the mirror.  This is a man that takes great pride in his work and it showed.  Thanks Doc!

I have been going to Larry Bowers since he started his practice on Capital Hill.  Always very professional, very thorough and his support staff is great!
