Dr. Karkalas Graduated from New York University College of Dentistry in 1996 and recieved her graduate ceritficate in Advanced Education in General Dentisty from Columbia Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Karkalas has received recognition for her skill in cosmetic dentistry from the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry as well as being a member of the Holistic Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr Karkalas also belongs to the Rhode Island Dental Association and the Providence District Dental Association. Dr Karkalas was also inducted into the Academy of Dentisty International.
Dr. Karkalas has extensive knowldege of cosmetic dentistry through consistent continuing education. Also being a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentists she is constantly using the latest techniques available. What this means for you is that you have one of the best sources for healthy and beautiful smiles in your own backyard.
2014* Dr Karkalas is working towards her board certification and eventual accreditation in Foresnic Dentistry. She is a member of the ASFO ( American Society of Forensic Odontology) She is the only Forensic Odontologist in Rhode Island.
