"When it comes to authentic Peruvian food, most people think of Ceviche. We thought of just that and did not stop there. We wanted to make it a fun and enjoyable culinary experience for everyone alike and decided to launch a fresh new restaurant concept in the heart of Kendall off of Southwest 84th Street, Miami, Florida, named after our chef and owner Carlos Brescia's nickname, Dr. Limon. Our trademark is not only a personalized service, but also a fresh menu where most of the traditional Peruvian plates have been reinvented and changed into medical terms. To complement this innovative cuisine, our guests can choose from a wide variety of wines, wine-based craft cocktails, real fruit juices, and of course... desserts!"

I'm not sure that it can get more authentic than this, state-side. I had a favorite place in NYC but the food in DR LIMON just blew it out of the water. This is now my #1 for Peruvian dishes. Staff is excellent and friendly. The menu is quite funny with the names, and the prices are moderately high but definitely worth it. They need to expand over to NYC. For sure they will conquer it very fast!!
What a nice restaurant. We were pressed for time as we stopped by here o. Our way to a funeral. The host graciously invited us in, even though we got there 10 minutes before they opened. She helped my 85 year old mom get seated and comfortable. The food was excellent. Everything we tried was delicious. The server made so.e very helpful suggestions. A+

I had tacu tacu with no meat protein. I’ve had tacu tacu in other locations, the rice tasted pretty dull. My friend enjoys coming here for it, but even she said that they had an off day. All the times I’ve tried it, it’s not really tasted great. I would heavily recommend to try a small Peruvian food for better tasting tacu tacu.

Surprisingly great chicken chaufa. Better then Panda Express. Love the beef short ribs and beans but could not eat the white rice. Too much. Great Peruvian food.
This appetizer was perfectly breaded and cooked, the lomo saltado was cooked to a juicy center thats just melted while you chewed and I love how it was all meat not fat.
