I Love Dr. BELL!!!. He goes above and beyond for myself (Bipolar). MY Young son (ADHD). In fact Carmen the front office manager personally works with helping to get the school to cooperate and abide by his 504 stipulations. Ive seen Dr. Bell since 2014. Wr hit a rough patch with the downturn of the oil field. We moved back home for 8 months.. i couldn't afford to pay my bill. I owed them over $500. There is nobody in this town i can rely on like them. I went into there office when we got back and apologized for not paying my bill. I was greeted with warmth and without criticism. I caught up my debt and started seeing Dr. Bell again. He was also very kind to us and actually happy to see us in a non financial way. Anyone who crumbs on Dr. Bell has to be a primadonna!

Couldn't help but see these comments. Some doctors you get along with. Others, not so much. That's life. For me, most time a DO/MD spent with me. That means something given declining reimbursement rates (Medicare+10%). Declining rates would push most out. However, a few not only continue to practice, but also insist on taking on the most risky (read: vulnerable) amongst us agnostic toward litigation. I would like to see more doctors with the courage to remind patients that their interests trump insurance or an HMO-directed policy statement. Individualized medicine - Not something just for genetics, Amgen, and the future. Also, thank you for your service to our country in Vietnam. Other reviewers, however well-intentioned, should be advised to get their own DO/MD's, go to war, and then dedicate themselves to helping his or her own community.

He didn't fill your refills because you cancelled your appointment. You aren't going to go into a Dr for a free visit. You could have very well paid for a final visit to get consultation on your medicated problems no doubt, but to leave a bad review for not getting something handed to you is ridiculous. You live in the wrong area for that. Doesn't mean all he cares about is money, he just isn't a charity. Being low income in a state that never even went through the recent depression makes you at fault.

Or he wouldn't prescribed you what you wanted mr. Townsend or whowever you are and his wife are wonderful people. It takes a smart person who understands his field of work to understand him. I've never had any issues and he works with me on my care quite well.

in 2006 I was going to see him for Depression and other issues which My grandmother and him couldn't figure out. The meetings i went to with him didn't help me and he didn't seem to care to try to talk to me, instead talking to my Grandmother most of the time. He prescribed me on various medications which seemed random, for instance, on the Bipolar medication Trileptal. In a meeting after I had gotten back from the psych ward, or maybe right before, he seemed particularily non-commited to my wellbeing and talked to my grandmother the whole time about her issues instead of mine. He then proceeded to belittle me and tell me how much of a burden I was on her. When i made a defensive remark, he grabbed my arm and threw me to the ground and yelled at me. he picked me up by the arm and threw me back down again in the hallway. My grandmother was screaming at him to stop, and I obviously never went back. I cannot stress enough how abusive and selfish this man is. He shouldn't be allowed to continue with this job because I'm worried he has tried to ruin other people like he tried to do to me.
