Dr. Williams was kind to and conscientious with my wife's best friend who we found out had lung cancer. We attended his meeting with her and he took way more time than was necessary to inform her of his test results He carefully informed her of all her options, was as optimistic as he could possibly be, and promptly scheduled follow up appointments with other doctors and furnished them with all his records. He is a very likable guy with an excellent bedside manner. He truly cares about his patients

Dr. Williams couldn't see me until several months from now so his Physicians assistant called for me to make an appointment with her.  Her name was Amy, too.  She told me to be here a little before 9:30.  Driving over an hour away I left in plenty of time.  Arriving at the facility to realize I would have to park in a parking garage and walk a good ways over.  Unfortunately I didn't arrive at x-rays several minutes early-but instead right at 9:30.  They get me back, I undressed into proper gown ready for my x-ray and the nurse comes back to tell me I'm too late and would have to reschedule.  They were very rude and flippant about it, never taking into consideration I had my three children with me and it wasn't like I was 20 minutes late.  I was at x-ray at 9:30.  When making the appt, she failed to mention I would have to prepare enough time for parking in a huge parking garage, taking elevator to skybridge, walking a bit to get there.  She just said arrive a few minutes early but even doing that I would have been late.  But being that I was there only a few minutes late, ready to go and to dismiss me so rudely and inconsiderately even though I drove an hour to be here...nope too late we can't see you.  I've worked with many doctors and never have I been treated so rudely and unprofessionally!  I was in tears...after speaking to Sheila she told me to calm down and to go back down to x-ray and that they would take me.  I agreed but the more I thought about it, I don't need any favors.  I left.  I'll take my business elsewhere.  "Amy" clearly didn't need my business and was so very rude-I'll find someone who has better bedside manner.  It's unfortunate because I don't know Dr. Williams and perhaps he is nice!  But his physician assistant ruined this for me and I'll never recommend this again.  When dealing with the public, especially people who are sick---you need to be kind, courteous, flexible, sympathetic, and understanding.  I'm not the first to arrive 5 minutes late, and wasn't really late to begin with.  Terrible customer relations.
