I was dissapointed with the lack of communication from the Dentists and Assistants.  Everyone is friendly, but not so professional.  Mark does not explain any procedures or what they will be like when they are complete.  I had a crown put on and was not told that a dark line would show on the porcelain infused crown.  The crown was put on and I noticed this dark line and they said that is the way the porcelain infused crowns look.  The chewing surface also feels different than it used to be and seems to be to bulky and less like my other teeth.  The assistant said nothing can be done about either of these two issues.  When I asked the assistant why I was not informed about the metal showing before the procedure started or my other options such as an all porcelain crown.  She informed me that the dentist is not responsible for telling me anything, only the assistants are.  She said that she didn't inform me because she only cares about the fact that the crown is strong and she does not care how it looks.  I told her that not everyone is her and if it is her responsiblity to inform people she should not think that they have the same view as her.  Some peope do care about whether metal shows in their mouth such as me.  She said sorry and I left.  I am not sure if I would go back there.  More communication would have been nice.
