Overall, this medical group has a very cavalier attitude toward patients. Because they are the only large group in the area and they have quite a large patient list, they treat patients as if they are doing them a favor. In terms of medical expertise, their treatments are dubious at best. No bedside manner, no particular attention to patient issues and certainly no follow up with patients. I am looking for another practice that has all the positive interpersonal dynamics I expect from a doctor and his staff.

Awesome experience. I have been a patient of Sal Zummo for 3 years, and have nothing but amazing things to say about him, the staff and the office. Easy to get in and out, no problems when it comes to billing. Great experience overall. I would recommend them to anyone..and I have...!

I could write a novel, but I'll keep it short. Been going there for 20 years, lately the care has gone down the tubes. Terrible bedside manner, lab results not communicated in a timely manner, judgement on medical conditions, MDs rush in and out of rooms, sometimes forgetting to perform a physical exam on the body part associated with the chief complaint, they do not treat symptomatically ( will let you get to the point of going to the ER), failure to look up or consult with specialists seen prior to appt for that ailment. Ability to overhear small talk/ complaints from staff about another patient's case. That is a HIPPA violation. If I can hear it, what if the patient heard it? What do they say about my case that others can hear? Lastly, I was told that if I wanted faster treatment, go to the ER so I can get what I want.. ( I had an intestinal infection). I am done with this practice. Why do we go to the doctor? To get better!! I understand somethings must run their course, but if it is keeping you from work, taking care of your children or whatever it is hindering you from doing, I would expect some help from my doctor.

I've been going to Dr. Hummel's office for over 10 years now. I've gone for routine check ups to needing them to address certain ailments. Recently I had a very bad ear infection. I did not go to Dr. Hummel's office but to a Ear, Nose, And Throat Doctor. Which is always best to do if you have issues with those areas. Turns out, I've had a tumor in my ear/jaw for over 7 years. I'm curious as to how this office missed a tumor growing in my ear considering they've done x-rays and always look in your ear anytime you visit. What are they looking for? They obviously missed the mass that is now blocking my ear canal and making me temporarily deaf. I wish they would have caught this so I could have addressed the issue before it left me deaf. I am COMPLELY upset with this office and will NOT be going back.

Dr. Hummel and the rest of his staff are excellent. I've been a patient for 7 years and have never had a bad experience.
