This man is a walking angel on earth!!! He saved my aunts life. He is so caring and so smart and so good at what he does. It is evident that he does his job with pride, care and love! May God bless him and his family!!!! May God give him the strength to continue saving lives!! We are so blessed to have had him as our doctor!!

Praise be to the Lord, Who has gifted Dr Shahideh the easiness of performing my husband surgery. Dr. Shahideh was very upfront, advisable and helpful. May the Lord bless him, his family, his secretary and all the team of Trillium Hospital with regard to the surgery.

Dear Ms. Ghazia, 

The purpose of insurance is to protect against unforeseeable events.  You wouldn't drive your car without insurance, what makes you think you can travel to Canada without it.  Your mother was lucky enough to be in a country like Canada where she received life saving care at zero expense to you or your family. The fact that she is alive today speaks volumes to the care she received.  

Perhaps you should begin by thanking the taxpayers of Canada for footing your bill!  You should be also thankful to the physicians who donated their time during the holiday season to save your mother.  

A simple thank you would have gone a long way.

This doctor should go back and read the Hippocratic Oath so that he can remember the real reason he became a doctor . 

My mom went to visit my sister and her kids in Canada and she had a brain aneurysm the second week she was there.
While I was in the icu room Doctor shahidi came up and started lecturing me and giving me attitude why I didn’t get my mom a travel insurance (she didn’t plan to have an aneurysm, so she can abuse the system “according to them “ and second we were not aware about travel insurance, usually she books her ticket through a third party ) 
and how he had to leave his child with a baby sitter because he wasn’t scheduled for any surgeries! And after the surgery he refuse to talk to us ,a nurse cane said he’s doing another surgery ( what happened to I’m not scheduled to come today ??! ) 
If there was no laws to protect the patient he wouldn’t do the surgery, he just decided that we won’t pay because she doesn’t have OHIP! 
( we never said we won’t pay ,plus where’s the patient privacy ?? Every nurse or staff will be asking why she has no insurance!!) I never saw a doctor asking for the money while the patient is about to die ! 

He saved her, but if There was no law he wouldn’t.

And after moving her to the refering hospital he refused to take any calls or messages from the Physicians to clear her out to fly ( according to the doctor him and his team decided not to deal with my mom and let her go back to her country)
Finally they spoke to the doctor and said that my mom has no time , she needs to redo her surgery ASAP . So we drove back to the US and she’s getting all the care where she belongs ! 

No one told you to be a neurosurgeon. You can Just switch to a plastic surgeon you will get more money !
