I've been a patient of Dr. Bendts since I was born. I like this doctor because he is very thorough and very polite. The staff here is amazing as well.

My son went to see Dr Peter Brendt with complaints about his back and because he hadn't been to a doctor or had a physical in at least 8 years . It was a total waste of time and money because he lost a day of work to be seen by this so called doctor . Dr Brendt kept speaking over my son not listening to what he was saying . My son told him he hadn't seen a doctor in many years and this doctor didn't give him a physical or order any lab work on my son . As for my son's back pain , without any Xrays or MRI this doctor told my son his back pain was caused because of his weight . Just because a person is overweight doesn't mean that is the cause of their back pain . My son also tried to discuss his weight with the doctor because he eats little and works hard , but still can't lose weight .  My son does construction , building log homes , putting on roofs and other construction so he could have a problem with his back . Dr Brendt didn't listen too my son's concerns , didn't do a complete physical or order blood work or any tests on his back , all he told my son is he wants him to do physical therapy . It took some time to get my son to go to a doctor and now because of his experience with Dr Bendt Peter he's discouraged and doesn't want to see another doctor . Dr Peter Brendt needs to shut his mouth and listen to his patients and if someone comes to him who hasn't been to a doctor in many years he should do a complete physical with lab work !!!!!  My son was referred 
 to Doctor Peter Brendt by Venango Internal Medicine where I go to the doctor because they didn't have any openings. I will make sure they know about my sons experience so they don't refer anyone else to Dr Peter Brendt !!!!
