Dr. Umapathy has been my doctor for 10 years. I often bring a list with questions and concerns and she always takes the time to go over each and every one without making me feel like she is in a hurry or disinterested. She is very supportive and caring. I was a smoker, and she never nagged me to quit, we would discuss options, but I never felt judged. I'm proud to say I am 6years smoke free, in part because she didn't treat me like a child when I would try and fail. She is a wonderful, intelligent and caring doctor. I have referred many people to her and heard nothing but positive feedback.

She also is/was a nursing home doctor as well. She was one for my mom all of 10 days but I never talked to or even met her. When my mom went to the hospital then back to the nursing home, she had a new Nursing home doctor.
