had an unpleasant enough experience here to take my money elsewhere. The first time I had seen Dr. Patel was a fairly positive experience when I was younger, and when I was in need of dental work a few years ago (and not having any dental coverage for a long time thus not being able to afford regular checkups) it was incredibly upsetting. I had never had a Dr. be so nasty and callous in speaking to me due to the condition of my teeth. I had some erosion in some of my teeth which led to her yelling at me and shaming me, and very loudly accused me of having an "eating disorder." I was younger then and I didn't know how to respond or how to tell her that that was an inappropriate comment to make to me, but I was respectful and I listened to her and I kept my head down. she was so unbelievably cold and did not provide me with any advice, or suggestions, just shamed me for "having an eating disorder." When I came home I cried, I had never in my life been spoken to this way by someone in the healthcare profession. She was equally rude to my mother who has a fear of doctors and it was very hard to get her to even come with me, and she shamed my mother as well (not understanding that not everyone can afford dental work), and she upset her as well and spoke to her in a very harsh and distasteful manner. safe to say we've found much kinder and compassionate dentists elsewhere. Dr. Kanak Narain in patchogue is a much better option.

Was referred by a co-worker to come here. I was not disappointed at All! The staff and doctor are extremely nice and make you very comfortable. I would recommend anyone looking for a dentist to come here!

Dr Patel is a great person.  Compassionate and caring.  So is the entire staff.  Short waiting times.
